That Sinking Feeling

That Sinking Feeling

A Poem by James K. Blaylock

That Sinking Feeling

has all

the melody,

gone slipping

right down,

through our

febble finger-tips...

we've seen

it falling;

but never

cared enough

to pick

it up,

for fear

of awfully

dirty hands

Nice write. Took me down memory lane.

I know the feeling. I was afraid of getting my hands dirty too. But i wish I had done just that instead of letting the sinking feeling overpower me.
