Soft Moments

Soft Moments

A Poem by James K. Blaylock

Soft Moments

cloak me within

your soft moments,

rip apart those

aches and shames...

please, can't I reside

herein your forever

This is a most sensual request of the soul,
to be seen and loved, like a lithograth on a stone,
the two hearts forever engraved.

I like the quote you have after your name, sir.
It connects with the poem itself.
I would love to be able to write poetry like this.
Just remember words for the feelings.
And let go of the shards of the broken glass, once broken, but never, pieces together
two peaces together.

So soulful..."please, can't I reside herein your forever"...wonderful lines!
To want to lose yourself in what they are...to be part of them always...I got an image of two people making love lol....don't know if that was your intention, but I saw it and it made the poem even more deep.

Great write, mate :D

This poem has such a serene affect, soft and full of passion as most of your work is.
