Political fabrication

Political fabrication

A Poem by Nassira
"

I was having some kind of brainstoming this morning!

"

Turning onto the news, once again I have to say

All is gloomy and sad…nothing much to smile about

The repetition of the words, each weighted by the way

For a maximum impact, mind game without a doubt!

They’re good at illusion, make believe situations

All is calculated, covered up, fabricated

Brainwashing in mass, hypnotizing nations

By the lies and the fear they have infested.

Modern day slavery disguised as technology

All spied on and tracked by invisible sharks

Classifying, playing on the ignorance of our diversity

Hoping that intolerance and hate will make it spark.

They offer empty dreams, they talk empty words

Covering up their sickness, by accusing the weak

Manipulating populations, guiding them like herds

Dressed as chameleons, their targets are the meek.

They won’t give up their chase, their world of politic

Satisfying themselves watching over their prey

Looking for subjugating their crowds with lies as tactic

Throwing their own nation in a life of disarray.

You couldn't be more right. There is little alegiance to the truth anymore in American news. Fluff and senationalism takes priority over all else. It's a disgrace.

So sad but so true.
We're run by multi billion dollar corperations, leaders that are puppets and promised futures that were sold in the past. They leave us to slave away and serve a meaningless life at the bottom of the pyramid.
A very good piece of writting.

Oh wow, I've been a victim of this. I can't tell you how many times I've been led down that primrose path, believing, and yet, uneasy underneath, wondering, only to find out that my uneasiness was justified.

I keep hoping for an altruistic leader. But I wonder if there even is such a thing? In order to reach a position of power, ideals must, by necessity, be dropped by the roadside. (sigh). But I keep on hoping.

Hugs...

This was definitely amazing, the truth in it is what makes it. the flow could have been better but other than that the poem was great!

Wow, powerful words and much truth!

There are so many users in our so-called modern world. Trouble is, civilisation doesn't really exist any more. The powerful want more and more power and disguise what they do and what they think with, as you say :-

'They offer empty dreams, they talk empty words
Covering up their sickness, by accusing the weak
Manipulating populations, guiding them like herds
Dressed as chameleons, their targets are the meek.'

It's every man for himself, not for the good of Mankind but for SELF:-

'They're good at illusion, make believe situations
All is calculated, covered up, fabricated
Brainwashing in mass, hypnotizing nations
By the lies and the fear they have infested'

A great piece of writing, both in content and format.

Thank you for sharing.
