Biggest Mistake

Biggest Mistake

A Poem by Victoria

She knew from the beginning it was a mess,
That was something she did not want to confess.

At first he was sweet and said all the right things,
Behind her back he was referring to her as a fling.

Eventually it would come out he was seeing his ex,
He would not even admit to it outside of a text.

Sometimes his hands would wrap around her neck in a tight fit,
His palms would find her cheek just a little bit.

All he ever did was make her heart break.
He'd eventually only ever be known as her biggest mistake.
