With Knives for Thorns

With Knives for Thorns

A Poem by Riley

Delicate beauty entices me to hold on,
comfy and sweet.

Hold on harder to a rose,
you'll cut your hand.

Apply pressure,
a ghastly gash.

Unsightly to see,
yet still so lovely.

Treat yourself like your hand;

Let go of toxicity like a rose with knives for thorns.
