please god, oh please
grant me that which I dearly need,
a hefty dose of fortitude
so I can fend off my demons during these reoccurring strings of solitude.
no more blood of mine needs to spill,
especially by the hands of the things that haunt me the most,
the memories of my love
who in dreams is an angel,
but in reality is a ghost.
