Chance

Chance

A Poem by fallendemonofmercy
"

while i was drinking some vanilla chocolate truffle tea i was watching some wisps of smoke unfurl around me thus giving me the idea and a break from one of my manuscripts

"

A wisp of smoke unfurls in the air
Whirling, twirling
Stop and stare
This is the last chance to end your despair

You’ve fallen lower
Twisting, turning
Time moving slower
As you reach your departure

Your ticket to hell
Has been justly satisfying
You can scream and yell
But never tell

The treatment you’ve received
Poor, disgusting
You’ve lied, cheated and deceived
Me right from the moment I conceived

Now is your choice
The last stand giving
Silence all noise
I give you a voice

Speak to me
I’m wondering
Don’t you see?
You’re the key

Unlock my heart
Reveal the opening
A piece of dark art
This is the start

Of the second chance
That neither of us got
