Like All Others Do

I know that you love me

just like everyone does

I know that I'm special

just like everyone else

I know how unique I am

just like everyone is...

 

Is it really worth it being me?

Being someone the way everyone else is

Loving me the way all others do

Pretending the way everyone does...

 

Trapped in this never ending circle

where everything looks alike

we try to go on

like all others do...

I really agree with this poem. Being trapped in a way that a person is just like everyone else is hard, and almost impossible to escape. This is well written.
