Toxic Angel(trig)

Toxic Angel(trig)

A Poem by Alice
"

this might be triggering for people trying to quit smoking. this explains my love-hate relationship with tobacco and smoking... I am actually 2 months clean!

"

I inhale your goodness,
and exhale your poison.

As I exhale,
all my troubles float away.

In a puff of smoke,
floating up to the city lights

Right now it doesn't matter,
nothing does.

I draw another drag,
and sigh as I release it again.

This is a safe place,
no anger, no fear, no tears, nothing.

I am nearing the end,
and don't want it to end.

So I take in one final puff,
and savor it's toxins in my lungs.

I know I'm dead when mom finds out,
but until then, no one will know of our secret love.

I throw the bud to the ground,
and put it out with my foot.

Time to return to hell,
the real world, home.

Until next time,
sweet oh sweet nicotine.
