Infinity.

Infinity.

A Poem by EightCloudArmy

"
I fall,
I stumble,
I tumble to the ground;
wanting to get out,
of this agonizing pain
You hear nothing,
but the screaming,
in my heart,
that has been trapped,
for years now.
You see nothing,
but the fake smile,
that i have on everyday,
but you could see,
the pain and sorrow,
in my eyes.
I understand,
that you,
and everyone else,
are there for me.
But,
I still feel lonely.
I feel trapped inside,
even when i let,
my emotions out,
to the world,
through my art.
Am i going to be here,
till the day i grow old?
or will i suddenly,
disappear...
without you noticing...
Will i stay on my feet,
and take on lifes challenges?
Or is this finally the end?
I dont need help.
I dont need a doctor.
I dont need meds.
I dont need a talking to...
I just need love...
True love...
That is beside me...
holding me tight...
I just need to find hope...
I need to believe in myself...
i need to trust the world...
I just need a slap in the face...
I need to be confident in myself...
I need to appreciate the things i have...
Infinity.

The only thing that is infinite is you. When you were born, you were alone and when you die you will be alone. None of the things or people you collect along the way will go with you. This is not depressing, it's just an affirmation that you already come equipped with everything you'll ever need- yourself. It's an empowerment. Whatever love you find out there in the world is actually your own projection of what is inside of you. You receive love as a direct result of you giving it. This poem is a beautiful confession. Your honesty is brave. But dig deeper. I would love to see it evolve.

Very nice rhythm, makes the whole thing so easy to read. I actually didn't realize when it was over. At the ends I was like "what? there is no more? hey I want more!"
Awesome work, indeed.

I would notice if you disappeared. In fact, I won't let you disappear. You're too talented.

That was lovely: your rhythm was unexpected and unique but had a charming flow.
