Etheree (PIF.1)  July 23, 2010 - September 1, 2010

'Etheree' consists of 10 lines of ascending syllable counts (1 syllable - 10 syllables) or a 'Double etheree', having 20 lines, with the 11th to 20th lines having descending syllable counts. Not necessarily rhymed. Here's an example of a normal etheree:

~ Ashes of betrayal ~

I
saw a
poet in me
as a dowsing
flame of raging dream,
something has had him drawn
against my thought particles
to some labyrinthine nemesis,
leaving behind a quill, a droplet
of past and some ashes of betrayal!
