Poetry Slam in 7 Days  April 14, 2011 - April 21, 2011

Some of the greatest experiences I have had with poetry is participating in poetry slams in Philadelphia and Chicago. Being on stage in front of a large crowed with a band behind you and only a microphone between you and the audience. Taking those nervous butterflies and turning them into a source of energy as you grab the mic and perform your best creation. Now those were the days!

This contest is simple, you have 7 days from right now to write, edit and proof read a brand new poem that represents the best you have to offer.

- Write about anything you want too
- Use any picture you want
- Just make sure that your poem is slamming!

You can give your poem a little performance boost if you want too for example, add music, play with the fonts and structure. Have fun be creative and show us your poetic style and tastes.

Like all contests the winner will be chosen by vote unless other wise stated.
