No overblown metaphors or spare adjectives. Can you paint a picture, simply and powerfully, and let just the words do the talking? Write a poem or short story that expresses so much using so little. Its not about the brevity or shortness - the piece can be any length - but its impact. Does it leave the reader spellbound and, sat for a minute after reading, staring at the wall in wonder.
