![]() Tip #1- Oh inspiration note book, how I adore you!A Lesson by UntoldStory![]() Tip number one to beat the block!![]() I keep a binder with me at all times that includes: -Paper for writing -Pictures of friends/family/vacations/magazine clippings -Interesting news articles -Quotes -Any other inspirational material So, what is all this used for? Inspiration my dear! If you come across ANYTHING that could inspire you, write it down or put it in the binder! The more the better! I write down conversations with my friends that are funny or not normal (and we have a lot of these ;) ) Or just to scribble down small things I see threw out the day that I may be able to place in a story. Also including are song lyrics that have a special meaning to me. Next I've placed photos of friends, my family, cool vacations, and cool pictures I have found in a magazine! When I simply can't think of a place for a story I go to this little stash and five minuets later I have a setting! News articles can also be used, since I write alot about crime, war, animals, and relationships I look for articles on the subjects and paste the interesting ones in my lovely binder. You may find them useful when you are stuck at a certain point of a story. And of course my quotes to get me threw my writing! Sometimes writing just doesn't come easily to me and a motivating quote will do the trick! Pick ones that you like, remember if YOU don't like it, it wont be very useful to you! Decorate the binder cover! Make it yours! :) I hopes this helps! And remember, TAKE IT EVERYWHERE! Inspiration comes randomly at times, be ready! Comments
