Tip number 3 my dears!

From here on out, you are not aloud, ever, to throw ANY writing away! I don't care if its so crappy it makes you cry, one day you may look back at it and find it funny or decide to give it another go. 

The trash is now your enemy. Know it, and fear it! Cringe at the sight of it! 

I have a few folders with all my writing in it, everything I've written. School papers, random write ups, free writes, it all goes in the folder marked "Craps" Don't believe me? Try it, I dare you. 

You can also reverse this and keep all of your very best writing in a folder marked "Best". Look threw them all, an Idea might just be hiding among those pages!

Questions to ask while going threw these folders:
-What would happen if a setting/even/character was different? 
-What if this took place during a different time period?
-What if the ending was reversed? (Ex- the hero didn't save the day, or vis versa)

That's an interesting thought. Usually, I throw away something that I think is really crappy, but then I somewhat regret it. Editing the story is a good idea, because even the slightest change can make it perfect. I really enjoyed this course, and I know it'll help!

This is so what I do and tell my bestie. I want to keep all of the writing we do because one day I would love to become a published author with her. We have the very first version of a story that is in the process of a rewrite. I screamed at her when she went to throw the original away. It has good memories and funny mistakes. It's from 7th grade and now I'm a senior in high school, lol. I want to keep everything we write.
