I looked out the veranda through the sliding doors in my studio apartment and I noticed the other buildings on the other side of the street... their windows and doors. I imagined busy people behind closed doors. I was sure everyone was doing something, because even in a deep sleep state, you are doing something! - sleeping deeply! I know some people are on there computers serfing the internet, or writing emails, and some lofting and lackadaisical, and of course some in the solitude of their privacy - and some probably sipping their coffee as I do.
