STORY OF MY SYLPH

I used to know a silph
Who knew not that I knew
That she was oh so tender
And always had to go

You waken feeling clammy
And think it must be your friend
Your shirt tail`s dry
This could not be you

You stomp your foot to wake her
Feeling really  out of sorts
When she gives you  that Silf like
Look your anger then departs

You lift the covers for a peek
And nearly drop with fright
For underneath is a little silf
All wet and curled up tight

The moral to this story
Is never doubt your mate
For if you value friendship
Don`t question her fluid state

I found this poem and read it. It's been ages since I've written poems. I'm more a short story writer now, but your poem, especially the part about being wet and curled up made me smile. It's well-written but wondered if Sylph was a girlfriend, a cat or what. Anyway it had a cute ending and was a good read.
 Thanks for posting
