Around The Block Forum Prompt #4

Hope everyone is having a delightful and productive weekend!!

This week's prompt is to write either a poem or story about an object (or objects) found abandoned/forgotten in your new place of residence. My personal thoughts were something along the lines of moving into a new house or apartment and finding a box tucked in a closet or cabinet. What is in the box? Why was it forgotten? Who left it?
