Atlas Shrugged kicks Fountainhead's ass18 Years Agoits just a fact, like it or not its storyreally means something and not just a random collection of symbols and story lines.

[no subject]18 Years AgoWell, though I agree Atlas Shrugged is a very good book. To judge them against each other is actually rather inane. Atlas Shrugged, is basically The Fountainhead on a larger scale and vice versa, The Fountainhead is Atlas Shrugged in a more personal setting. Atlast Shrugged deals more with what happens to the world and The Fountainhead deals more with what happens to the immediate people and surroundings of one man. If you put Howard Roark in Atlas Shrugged he'd be another man in Galt's army, or simply, Galt himself. So, in my opinion, they are both astounding peices of literature, but to compare them is not a wise, or even an appropriate thing to do.
