DARK REALM Forum Mature Content?????

So brothers and sisters of The Dark Realm, I'm sure you see the mature content status bar above. After reading the info on the announcements forum, I take it we (DARK REALM GROUP) fall under this mature content rule. We all joined this group, I created this group for FREEDOM of all writers. Those members true to FREEDOM of speaking and writing what you want I hope you stay posted up!!!! Protect your writings, label them as MATURE. DARK REALM IS HERE TO STAY!!!!! You young DARK REALM members are family, no need to run. You joined because you feel comfortable here. Again WE are family.......

Yea...I've had to go through my works and double check to see if something needed the "Mature" label. I only have a small list of pieces posted and an even smaller part of that is what I'd call "Mature". I can only imagine what those who have tons of writing posted are going to have to go through...

Personally, while conceptually I can see that the idea behind this change has some merit...their stated response seems overly harsh. Instant removal? It seems as if I could falsely report someone, say if I didn't like them, and have their stuff deleted...without any sort of warning being issued first...

Seems to easy to abuse...

I think our previous version of Mature Warning and labels were sufficient enough.  If you don't like Dark Poetry because it scares you do you seek it out? NO

       Yes, Creeper.       I've had to go back over all my writing, clicking the "Unpublished" icon, just so I would have time to edit my writings as "M". Seems kind-of odd, since as when I joined WC, there wasn't even an age limit on any-thing. Now it's all most on everything... ._. What next? Are they going to charge us to write?      .-. I've been on this site a good six (6) years. To the majority of writers here, I have found hate my writings, say they are to dark, or just rather not say anything on the matters I write. The ones who do look up to me, seem to be the younger generation.       If the people of this Earth even once stop to think, most kids in this generation can read, but chose not too. They are to busy watching "smut", or "filth" on the tube, or in magazines. If they have to downsize a good work of writing, like it's just a TV show, or a video Game from the 1990's then what's the point of writing?       How are these kids going to grow up in a world of danger, that everyone keeps hidden behind the locked door? Eh?      Maybe, just maybe it's only me, but, I am who I am today, because there is no good way to stop that which you never knew was coming for you.       Yes, (our) writings are dark, yes they have sexual themes, and yes, some might be to Mature for all viewers, but sometimes, the truth is better than not knowing.     What are they going to do, ban all the books out of schools, and stores, or even burn or demolish public Libraries?       I dike rest.     Hindsight's 20/20. I just write Mature Content all the time - avoids confusion and of course attracts the youngsters.
