Dark Fantasy Forum Hello

     Hello everyone. I decided to join this group because I absolutely love fantasy. I am currently writing a dark fantasy novel. I am classifying it as dark because the protagonist's best friend dies in the very first chapter. He also loses many other friends and one of the themes is loss of hope. I want to put a good, sad story behind the antagonist (A.K.A. the bad guy). I also want to write a novel explaining his history.

Nice but don't spoil it lol! I'm also writing a novel that can be portrayed as dark fantasy, perhaps you would like to read and review each other's work?

I put a lot of darkness behind my sereis Morte Pleure. The background is dark enough yet the mai nelements are part of something plus the theme is hope rising from a group to bring unity to a torn apart land. Anyone wanna read it?
