An Ode’ to Dead Poets

In their words eternal,
They shall silently speak.

We shall read them,
And feel them,
And they will still
Make us weep.

Words so profound,
Will surely--always abound,
As the phrases,
And mazes,
Of their wisdom
Comes round.

Their thoughts
Sometimes meek,
To my heart they shall speak,
And the changes in me,
Will most certainly
Run deep.

So, I write this today
As to honor their way
Yes, the passion they’ve shared
Will most certainly stay.
