East Midlands Creative Writing Group Forum Yippee!

Just recieved an email about a poetry competition I entered. I haven't won, but have been shortlisted as 'The best of the rest' and my poem will be published in a book! Exciting!!! Now if I could only remember which poem it was???

The poem should be in a book call 'Poems O Meaning' out in July - my poem was:  Mother  I stood beneath a cherry tree Beneath a winters sky I let the wind bite at my tears As I quietly cried I stood beneath that cherry tree Where I’d come to say goodbye And winter gouged at my face As I silently let you go.
