Why is connecting with other writers so difficult?

Hi. I just got back into writing after years and I can't find someone to connect with.  I write dark/erotica and am looking for inspiration and/or collaborating on something together.

I feel so alone right now and I don't know why.  I tried creating a writing group on facebook - and here and I'm just 1 person out of how many that are overlooked.

I'm feeling discouraged and quite sad.

Hey there ruby! I would love someone to hep with their writing as well as help me with my writing and bounce some ideas off! I've been writing for a long time but can't seem to get anything finished. Hit me up if you would like me to take a look at anything. I just posted something i've been working on here. Not sure what the rules are here or anything.

Would be happy to connect! I know how you're feeling. I5s hard to surround yourself with like minded people, even on the web.
