Josephine "Jo"13 Years AgoName: Josephine "Jo"
Age: 14 Family: A younger brother, Martelle "Marty", who is six-years-old and afraid of firebending. He admires his sister highly and has always looked up to her. Lives with their foster mother, Fiona, who treats her like a slave, but yet shows that she cares deeply for Jo and Marty. Nothing about their parents or other relatives is known. Element: Fire/Lightning (Prodigy) Weapon: Bow (Master) Other Ability: She also knows Chi Blocking (only learned because it was a require class to learn in school.) The Republic City Police Force are often on her trail as they suspect that she is a bender, mainly Chief Shane, the twenty-six-year-old head of the police force in the city. Personality: (Based off of me - so yeah, it sounds like Eddie Slater (from Elemental Warrior, not ThreadHeads, and Junior Connor!) Jo's a goofy, sarcastic, bad a*s, funny, and sometimes lazy tomboy that loves football, writing, reading, junk food, and pop. Appearance: Long thick wavy medium golden blonde hair with blunt bangs, bluish green eyes, full pink lips, medium size nose, porcelain skin, and is five feet and four inches. She wears a long red baggy t-shirt, flare blue jeans, cowboy boots, black fingerless gloves, a black baseball cap, and a golden quiver with arrows and a golden bow on her back. Her hair is usually either in pigtails, half up ponytail, high ponytail, two braids, or in a bun. Because of her hair and eyes (both almost never heard of), she never fits in anywhere. |

Prologue13 Years Ago(Like the opening to the Last Airbender. That's all.)
Water. Earth. Fire. Air. These were once the four elements that brought the world together. My home, the Republic City, is proof of it. It was built after The Hundred War ended by the Fire Lord Zuko and the Avatar, Aang, and everyone lived in peace. But, everything changed once the Equalists, attacked. It was believed that the new avatar, Korra, could stop them, but Amon, leader of the Equalists, manage to defeat even her, and performed a deadly ritual that ended the cycle of the avatars forever, and wipe out every last bender. Today, there is a death penalty for any benders that are born in existence. Everyone believes however benders have been extinct and that's there's no point in that law. But I know they are wrong because I am one of them. My name is Jo and I am a Fire Bender. I discovered my powers as a baby, kept them hidden, and practice day and night out in the field where no one can see or hear me since. Though the Republic City Police Force's Sheriff, Shane, suspects me of my bending, he has no proof to go on for, not to mention that I am in the top of my grade in Chi-blocking, a fighting style that I wish not to use, but it's the perfect cover-up for my abilities. Besides that, I also do archery that I love and another cover-up for my talent. The only one that knows about my bending is my younger brother, Marty, who is also a fire bender that I am teaching though he is terrify of it and of me, always worry that we will get caught and have to live like this for the rest of our lives. However, I believe that one day, Amon and all Equalists will be taken down and my people and all benders can live in peace freely once again. |

New Beginning Part I13 Years AgoI
jump out high and land with my bow in my hands, ready with an arrow and generated with lightning. I shoot it straight ahead at the boulder, six hundred meters away. The arrow hits right in the center like a bull's eye, destroying it immediately. It
always looks so beautiful - peaceful. Of course in this era, a
bender can only see peace, but not feel it. The sunlight over the
soft greenness and wheat color of the field pops out brightly. Around
the sun is the colors of red, pink, violet, and some of the midnight
blue from the night that is still up. My favorite time of the day is
when the sun rises and when the sun sets, like this, every day. I
feel most powerful and yet, at ease, during that time.I stand back up straight and give my bow a quick blow and put it down on my side. I look out into the sky and notice the sun rising over the field. “Oh crap, got to go! Fiona is getting up!” “Right here.” I arrive in the caramel color dining room of the house with Fiona's breakfast in my right hand like a waitress and set it on the table and put down her long pink lemonade on the side. Fiona adjusts her large black sunglasses. It is rare that anyone sees her without them. She turns her head to me. “Where is my silverware?! Jo, it is only morning and you are already forgetting something as simple as silverware! Now go now and get it!” “Yes madam,” I said. “After I wake up my baby brother, Marty!” “Well hurry up!” yell Fiona, as I already take off. “I can't eat my breakfast without my silverware!” I open Marty's bedroom door and open the window green curtains, letting in the sunlight. Marty begins to rub his blackish brown hair and open his gold eyes slightly. I go over and begin to tickle him. “Good morning my little baby brother!” He begins to laugh. “Stop it! Stop it sissy!” I sigh. “Okay, you know your routine for today that I told you for your first day of school. Get up, dressed, and cleaned up and I'll be in the kitchen with your breakfast.” “Jo, why do you always have to listen to Fiona?” said Marty. “Because she is our foster mother, the closest thing to a parent,” I answer. “JO!” I kiss Marty on the forehead. “Let's race to it!” Shane is the Sheriff of the Republic City Police Force. He is after me and suspects of me being a fire bender ever since I was seven. I made a fire ball in the sky that exploded loudly and widely. When I was running away to make sure no one saw me bending it, Shane saw me in the field, escaping. Ever since then, he's been waiting for me to bend again - this time, with a live audience. “When are you going to leave me alone?” I said, angry. “I know who you are,” said Shane. “And I'm not forgetting. One day, Amon and the rest of the world will to.” “Stop harassing my family,” I said, even more angry. “You don't scare me, but you're scaring Marty.” “Jo!” Marty comes outside all dress and clean with his straight brownish black hair comb and his backpack on his back. Shane looks back at me and turns around and walks away. Marty looks at me, with fear in his gold eyes. “Let's go,” I said, taking his hand. |

Re: Avatar: The Legends In Republic City13 Years AgoMeditating inside the Southern Air Temple, sat a girl with her long black hair flowing behind her, inhaling and exhaling. The wind gently blew at her back and she felt her spirit move too and fro, feeling herself being utterly relaxed. A red ribbon was gripped firmly in her hand, a blue arrow for all to see. She took a deep breath and commenced to breath.
"Great master Aang..." she muttered, trying to contact the previous avatar. "I'd like an audience.." She heard footsteps behind her and before she could react, arms wrapped around her shoulders and brought her chocolate brown lips to pale lips. Her eyes widened as she felt herself being pushed down, hands pinned to the ground. "Val, Valentine!!" She complained, feeling lips press at her neck. She pushed him off and scolded "This is a sacred place!!" "But I'm bored.....and I'm out of Tasha." her love, Valentine replied. He went for another but was met with a pillow which she was sitting on. Said girl, Tasha, rose from her spot and tie the ribbon back around her forehead. "Good grief...." Tasha replied. She walked off, deeper inside the temple and went to get food. Valentine followed of course, soon coming to her flying bison named Mochi. Tasha stroked Mochi along the side and asked "What sounds good?" "Ribs." Valentine said. "Then we need to leave if you want ribs." Tasha said, feeling arms snake around her neck and pull her in for a hug. "Just my Tasha. Valentine whispered. "D-Don't push it...." Tasha replied and the two boarded the bison. With a 'yip, yip' they soared through the sky and to the main lands. |

New Beginning Part II13 Years Ago “Sir,”
said a police officer, entering the Shane's office.
The
police station of the Republic City is very large and protected with
cameras everywhere along with guards. All the police officers wear
black – black long trench coats, pants, boots, sunglasses, and
those with long hair, wear ponytails. Like his officers, Sheriff
Shane wears just that - with a necklace made of real gold and symbol
of the police force and Amon to distinguish him as the sheriff.
Despite his twenty-six-years of age, he looks far mature beyond his
years and wise – and is which is why he is sheriff. His hair is
curly and silver black in a low ponytail to his mid back with black
eyes and beige skin.
“What is it?” “Someone came in with what might be a code 121.” “Might?” ask Shane. “Yes sir,” answer the officer. “We haven't had one in a long time and people know the consequence is the death penalty, but yet, people still are foolish enough to do it. Investigate on it more and let me know as soon as possible if it is true. I'll be right back on my own investigation,” said Shane, getting up and putting on his long black trench coat. “Yes sir,” said the officer. He exits his office. “No offense sir,” said his second-in-command. “But you have been trying to prove for years that there are still benders in our existence, but you still got nothing.” “I got something,” said Shane. “Rather, someone.” “You still mean that blonde girl?” said his second-in-command. “Come on, my son says she's the best in her class in the art of Chi-blocking. She even beats college students - unbeatable.” “The perfect disguise,” said Shane. “What makes you think she is anyways,” said his second-in-command. “I was out in the field seven years ago,” begin Shane. “And saw a ball of fire blow up to my right above widely. I was in shock and when I ran over to the spot, I saw her running away. Since then, I notice how she never wears a jacket in the winter, never gets a sunburn in the summer, always hates the water, and how hot the grass is after she walks on it.” “Well maybe she was just playing with some tools and stuff as a little kid and it was just a chemical accident,” said second-in-command. “Nelek,” said Shane. “You didn't see the fire that day. I know it wasn't an accident - it was bending.” ~*~ “Ow!” I take my last classmate down in chi-blocking outside in my school's outdoor gym. “Great job both of you,” said Mr. Naming, my new chi-blocking teacher for this new school year. “And Josephine, I believe that I put you all the way up with the seniors.” “Thanks, but can you call me Jo?” I said. “No problem,” said Mr. Naming, smiling. “Seniors?” said a guy. “But that's no fair! She's just a freshman like the rest of us!” “Sorry, but that is my call,” said Mr. Naming. “Good day class.” ~*~ “So how your first day of school?” I ask, as we walk home in the mall and stores part of Republic City. “It was really fun, but scary,” said Marty. “How?” I said. “Everyone was really nice, but....” “But what?” I said. “While my class was playing, I overheard the teachers saying how there's a rumor that there might be someone studying benders and my teacher said that he should be put to death since benders were demons and everyone agreed with her,” answer Marty. I take Marty on the side of a store with no one in hearing range and put my hands on his shoulders. “Do you believe that I am a demon?” He shakes his head. “Do you believe that you are a demon,” I ask. He shakes his head. “Then they are wrong,” I answer. Marty lets out a small tear. “But what if Shane has evidence and gets you executed?” I hug him. “I promise Marty that I will keep us safe, no matter what happens.” “GET OVER HERE!” Marty and I come out from the side of the story as everyone stops and gathers around to in the middle of the street. Shane grabs a guy in his mid fifties with glasses and puts him against the wall and handcuffs him. “Marty, stay here,” I said, with a serious tone. He nods his head. I walk over. “Hey, what are you doing to this guy?” Shane turns to me. “He has committed a crime - the crime of hiding forbidden books in his household.” “What 'forbidden books?'” I question. “Books that talk about the art of bending - and he had every one for each element - water, earth, fire, and air,” said Shane. The guy bows his head down, scare. His second-command, Nelek, arrives. “This criminal has committed code 121,” said Shane. “The punishment for that crime is the death penalty.” I turn to him surprise. “No! You can't do that! All he did was read the books! He's not a bender!” Shane turns to me with narrow eyes. “Both crimes have the same punishment!” Suddenly, a woman with twins walks up out of the crowd, weeping. "THAT'S MY HUSBAND! PLEASE LET HIM GO!" “Shane, please let him go - not for me, but for his wife and kids,” I said. “They don't want to visit him in prison.” Shane rolls his black eyes. “He should have thought of that before having those books in his home!” The other officers take him and lead him to a police car. “NO!” scream his wife. His twins begin to cry uncontrollably. I sigh. I can't allow this..... I turn around and walk over to Marty and bend down. “Go home.” “But sissy - “Now,” I said, serious. He looks worry, but runs. I turn around and run and attack both the officers with the man, using chi-blocking at their elbows and back of their knee caps. They fall down as everyone gasps, setting the man free, who is just as surprise. “Go!” I yell, at him. The man nods his head, terrified, and runs with his wife and twins. “You are under arrested for assaulting two police officer,” said Shane. I turn to him. “I won't let you,” I said. “I'm not going to be in prison for doing the right thing.” “If you don't put your hands up, I'll have to attack you then,” said Shane. I get in fighting position. “Bring it on Shane!” We charge at each other. We jab at each other's pressure points like crazy, but each one missing. We're equal in chi-blocking..... Finally, he kicks my knee cap and I fall. “I always knew you were a troublemaker, Jo,” said Shane, standing above me. “Surrender now and maybe your time in prison won't be as long.” I shake my head. “No – never! Not to you or anyone!” “You can't defeat me,” said Shane. I narrow my eyes. After all these years – that does it! “You were right, Shane. The world will know who I am.” I open my mouth and let out fire at his face. Everyone's jaws drops and screams. “AAAAAHHH!” thunder Shane, the loudest, with his face on fire. “OH MY GOSH! SHE'S A FIREBENDER!” “FIREBENDER! FIREBENDER!” I jump back up despite my injured knee. Nelek looks nervously at me and points. “AFTER HER!” All the police officers around me charge. I jump on one of their cars and the next ones, and with my hands, push off all the police officers with my fire bending, escaping the scene. |

New Beginning Final Part13 Years AgoI
arrive in the field, using it as a shortcut to my home, and find
Marty with our backpacks fill with our most precious
belongings.
“Marty,” I said. “Why are - “JO!” I turn around to see Fiona. “Fiona,” I said. “I knew this would happen eventually,” said Fiona. “But you two had to leave soon before they find you two. It's up to you to find the rest of the remaining benders before it is too late and take down Amon and his people.” “Wait,” I said. “You knew we were fire benders?” Fiona nods her head. “Ever since you two were given to me. But before you two leave, I want to give you this. It is from your family.” She holds out two coronets in shapes of flames, formal robes in deep blood red with gold trimmed along the sleeves and collars, and formal black and deep red armor with gold trimmings. “But this is the Fire Nation Royal Family's - I pause. “Marty and I are the Prince and Princess of the Fire Nation?” She nods her head. “One day, we'll meet again so I can explain everything. Now take this and go!” I obey and grab Marty's hand and we leave Republic City unseen. |

Re: Avatar: The Legends In Republic City13 Years AgoTasha gathered the clouds so they could cover Mochi and themselve, Valentine driving. He gleefully whistled, Mochi going through the skies and Tasha keeping the cloud together.
"This would be romantic if the girl I loved wasn't being such a priss." Valentine said, eating away a rib. "Be happy we got out alive!" Tasha spat back. Valentine noticed the setting sun and said "We should be fine now, no need to keep the cloud together." Tasha stopped her hand movements and the cloud subsided. Mochi softly moaned and Tasha scratched her bison behind the ear. "We'll find a place to rest soon girl." Tasha said lovingly. Her bison then picked up the cries of two people along with an angry mob. Looking down at the ground, Valentine and Tasha following. "A mob..." Valentine said. "More benders!" Tasha said. "We need ti help them!" "What if their fire benders?" Valentine asked, you could hear the venom in his voice. "Fire benders aren't like that anymore and you know it!" Tasha scolded, pushing him aside and taking the harnest. "Mochi yip yip." Tasha said and Mochi dived. ~ * ~ Jo and Marty raced through the grass, Marty trying to keep up with his sister and Jo basically dragging him along. As the mob got closer and closer, a giant gust of wind blew everyone to the side. Jo looked back and saw a bison, a girl hopping off and twirling her staff in the air. She landed on her feet easily and swept the mob away with another gust of wind. "Get on!" the air bender demanded the they waisted no time. Jo helped her brother aboard the bison and soon hopped on herself. Valentine took the harnest and began to take flight into the sky. "Wait, what about your friend?!" Jo asked. Suddenly the air bender had easily flown and seated herself on the bison. "Hey, tough crowd huh?" the girl replied. "Thanks so much, I didn't know any other benders were nearby here." Jo said. "Well....there aren't." the air bender replied. "Most benders stay close to where their ancestors originated from. My names Tasha by the way." "An air bender?" Jo asked. "Yup, following the steps from the last avatar Aang." Tasha replied. "I"m Valentine." Valentine called back. "Jo." Jo said. "Marty." Marty replied. "This is so cool! A bison, I thought they were extinct!" "Well...not all of them." Tasha said and turned back to Valentine. "We're heading back to the Southern Air Temple." "Aye, aye, captain." Valentine said gleefully and they soared through the sky. |

Two Stands13 Years AgoTasha's biscon makes it on the Southern Air Temple, as Tasha and Valentine jump off while I take Marty in my back like a piggy back ride and jump off.
Her biscon lands too, already relaxing. "So," said Tasha. "What bender are you Jo? Oh wait let me guess - She and Valentine study me. "I don't know," said Valentine. "You have blonde hair and those eyes - "They're bluish green," I said, right away. "People usually mistake them or blue or green." "Well that just makes it harder," said Valentine. "Plus you are in regular clothing," said Tasha. "Well I'll go with water bender!" "Sweet!" said Valentine, excite. "I haven't met another water bender in forever!" I laugh and shake my head. "No - I'm not a water bender." Right then, Valentine looks at Marty and his purple eyes turn from happy to anger right away. He points at Marty. "You're a fire bender! Most fire benders have gold eyes with brown or black hair!" Marty begins to shake. I pick him up and narrow my eyes. "We're both fire benders! Why is that problem?" Valentine walks up to us. "Because you and your people are evil dictators that kill innocent benders!" "That was during the Hundred Year War that happen nearly two hundred years ago!" I said. "Well not all fire benders have changed," said Valentine. "Valentine," said Tasha, going to him. "Stop it please!" Valentine shakes his head. I look at Marty. "Marty, how about you go and play with Tasha's biscon?" He nods his head, without saying a word, and I put him down, and he takes off. I look back at Valentine. "My little brother and I aren't one of them," I said. "We lived in the Republic City our entire lives, hiding who we are, and never murder a soul." "Of course from what I saw," said Valentine. "I can understand your little brother because he is only like what - five?" "Six," whisper Marty. "And he is probably just learning, but you're like maybe two years younger then me," said Valentine. "Fourteen," I answer. "Exactly and you couldn't take down those city people that were chasing you?" question Valentine. "I would, but I didn't want to scare Marty," I said. "Scare him?" said Valentine. "He's scare of fire bending," I said. Valentine laughs. "Ha - a fire bender scare of fire bending! How great is that?" "Valentine," said Tasha. "I won't say it again, stop it!" Valentine finally sighs and turns around to walk away. He stops and turns his head to the left halfway. "You better hope there's not a full moon tonight!" "I know what blood bending is and I'm ready to take you down, with the sun or the moon," I said. Valentine turns back around fully. "How did you figure out that I'm a water bender?" "Your clothes," I said. "Looks to be from the water tribe like Tasha's outfit is from the air temples." "And where's your armor, fire bender?" said Valentine. I put down my side backpack and take out my armor - my royal armor. Valentine's purple eyes widen. "You're part of the Fire Nation royal family - you're sick!" "Valentine, no!" yell Tasha. "Can we please talk about this?" "Tasha, she is the PRINCESS of the Fire Nation," said Valentine. "You expect me to let her and her little brother, the PRINCE stay here with us?" Tasha sighs. "Marty and I don't need to stay here," I said, putting my royal armor back in my side back pack and put it over my left shoulder. "I can't believe that you think that a six-year-old boy and a fourteen-year-old girl will try to kill you just because of what our ancestors did a long time ago!" "For the last time," said Valentine. "Fire benders - the few benders that are left and hiding - are still out to take over the world!" "No," said Tasha. "You are not leaving and you, Valentine, are going to get over that they're fire benders!" Valentine exhales heavily. "Fine." We both turn around. But I stop immediately, my instincts telling me Valentine is going to pull a fast one. Right then, I hear a water whip coming my way, and I quickly jump and dodge, right away. "VALENTINE! NO!" shout Tasha. I create blue fire and jet propulsion, charging straight at Valentine. Valentine shoots out ice on the floor, creating a ice floor under my feet. I stop, keep my feet balance and still, and create a wall of fire - still blue - around me and push it out to melt the ice. Valentine goes on a ice ramp. "Thanks!" He gathers the water and aims it all at me in the middle. "SISSY!" I turn around to see Marty jump in front of me. "LEAVE MY BIG SISTER ALONE!" Valentine doesn't move the water. "Please Valentine," said Tasha. "He's just a little boy and Jo doesn't deserve this." Valentine stays still like a statue. I stretch out my hands and generate lightning immediately and raise them up, as though they're in fists. Marty's gold eyes water up. "SISSY NO!" "If you try to hurt my little brother," I said. "I have no problem using this against you." Valentine looks at me angrily and back at Marty and then at Tasha. Finally, he raises his hands down along with the water as I do mine and the lightning vanishes. Valentine eyes back at me. "I only did it for my girlfriend, Tasha, the love of my life. Not for you or your little brother." He turns around and walks away. "Come on Marty," I said, grabbing his hand. "Jo, why did you do that?" cry Marty. "To protect you," I said. "He could have hurt you!" "But that lightning is even scarier then fire and blue together!" weep Marty. I bend down in front of him and hug him. "I'm sorry, but I wouldn't have done it in front of you if I didn't think there was a chance that he'll attack you." Marty sighs. "It was my fault - I shouldn't have ran into that battle, but I don't like seeing you fight - I hate it! I HATE IT!" He begins to whine, tears flooding down his cheeks. I hug him tighter as I see Tasha come from behind. "Jo, please stay here tonight with your brother. We can talk. I know my boyfriend seems.... Insane right now, but he's a really good person. Please just let me explain here later." I nod my head. "Later." |

Re: Avatar: The Legends In Republic City13 Years AgoTasha smiles, a genuine one and leads both Marty and Jo towards Mochi. She makes them a soft spot and they get comfortable. Tasha takes her staff and walks into the room where Valentine sits criss cross on the same Air Bender symbol. His pale skin really did reflect the moons light. Tasha approached him, soon swatting him over the head with her staff.
"OW!" Valentine screeched. Jo imediently woke up and followed the voices. "Are you an idiot!?" Tasha scolded. "Fire bender got what she deserved." Valentine shot back, rubbing the dulling pain on his head. That only earned him another smack on the head. "They're our comrades, did you not see the mob going after those two?!" Tasha asked. "Look I know that fire benders nearly killed you but that was years ago!" Tasha scolded. "These two are friends, I can feel it." "Please Tasha, I can't just stand around and watch them as they stab us in the back." Valentine said. "You need to think this over...." Tasha said. "Stay here and meditate!" Glaring at his girlfriend, her went into meditation. As Tasha was about to walk away, Valentine lunged and trying going in for a kiss but was blown away by Tasha's airbending. "Your punishment." Tasha said. "Good night." She returned to bed, Jo quickly going to Mochi and sleeping on top of her. Tasha found a good patch of grass and laid down. Tasha then went to sleep while Valentine continue his meditation. ~ * ~ "Marty, come here." Tasha said. "Okay." Marty said. Tasha tapped her staff on the ground and it instantly turned to a glider. Taking Marty around the waist and hoisting him on her back, she took a running start and soon soared through the air. Jo watched from the ground, watching the two soar. Tasha did occasional flips in the air and even flung Marty in the air (which gave Jo a heartattack) and caught him. Tasha then whistled and Mochi was there, Tasha dropping Marty on Mochi's back and joining them as well. They landed and Marty excitedly ran back to Jo. "That was so cool!!" Marty exclaimed. |

Blur Memory13 Years AgoMarty falls asleep softly besides Mochi as I have my hands in front of the fire I created earlier when the moon rise and control the heat thoroughly.
Tasha sits down across from me and the fire. "Jo, is it okay if I ask you something about Marty?" I nod my head. "No problem. What is it?" "Why is he afraid of fire bending?" she asks. I take a deep breath and let it out and put my hands down. "Because of something that happened long ago when he was a baby and I was eight. It was when we were with our parents - my father actually. I barely remember it though....." ~*~ "When I think about it, all I see is the sky bursting of thunder and lightning and fire surrounding us with cries of people and animals. Then, I heard my father's voice - I know it was him. I can't explain it - I just know it was. I even remember his face..... Somewhat. He had Marty's hair, but eyes..... Like mine. Anyways, he held me and Marty and looked at me and said, 'I'll be back. Maybe not tomorrow, not month, next year, next decade, but I will come back for you, Jo, and Marty. Don't forget.... Please don't.'" ~*~ "And that's all I know," I finish. "But I think whatever happened, it traumatized Marty with the fear of fire bending." "Wait, you never saw your father since?" said Tasha. I shake my head. "The years before I turn nine are a blur. Sometimes when I am practicing fire bending and the sun is rising or setting, I feel like something will come to me - something of my father, the years before Marty and I were taken in to Fiona, but, it never does." "Who's Fiona?" question Tasha. "Our foster mother," I said. "She was harsh, often treated me like a servant. Though Marty didn't see it, I knew that deep inside, she did care about us, and I was proven right when after I was discovered as a fire bender, she told us to flee and that she knew we were fire benders all along and then revealed that we are heirs to the Fire Nation throne." "Your father never told you?" said Tasha. "I don't know," I said. "I hope we encounter Fiona soon so she will explain everything to us." ~*~ Sailing on the tides of the ocean water, the Equalist's military ships soar fast right through them. The captain goes on deck to the admiral. "Sir, we are approaching the Air Temples." Now in a Equalist armor of black and gray, Shane smirks. "Good. Have all the temples surrounded. I'll take the Southern one." "Shane," said Nelek. "How do you know she's there?" Shane turns around to him. "Nelek, my advisor, always asking so many questions. If you wouldn't so good at your job, I would have fired you the minute you walked in my office back at the police force. And to answer your question, it's because of the biscon that air nomad girl and that water tribe boy had. Those biscons are considered extinct, but obviously, they're not like the benders. But while they weren't 'extinct', they lived in the Air Temples which means that is where that Jo, her little brother, and her new friends are." He looks back at the captain. "Thank you, Captain." Captain nods his head and leaves. Shane turns back around and narrows his dark brown eyes that are now small and hard to see while the burn that covers his face is still very visible. "Shane," said Nelek. "Maybe you should waited before you - "I will get my revenge," said Shane. "If I have to be burn trying to." |

Re: Avatar: The Legends In Republic City13 Years Ago"Come on guys, time to go!" Tasha announced bright and early. Marty groaned as he was shaken awake. Valentine returned, popping his back and mumbling "The way your able to stay in that position without falling back will always be a mystery to me."
"Years of practice." Tasha replied and easily glided over her bison and landed at the head. "All aboard!" "Where're we going?" Jo asked, helping Jo board Mochi. "We're heading to Ba Sing Sei, where an old friend of ours waits." Tasha replied. "He's probably waiting." "Wow, its King Boomie's birthday already?" Valentine asked. "Whose Boomie?" Jo asked. "You really are deprived." Tasha joked. "Everyone on?" "Yup." Marty said, finding his place beside Jo and Valentine beside Tasha. Tasha said "Yip, yip." and they flew into the air. Jo took in the scenery of the air temple, the beautiful structure being shrouded in the clouds. Marty's stomach growled but he was too shy to ask for food. "There's cantaloupe in that bag next to Valentine." Tasha called, the two looking at Valentine warily. "He won't hurt you." Jo scooted towards Valentine, quickly snatching the cantaloupe and handing it to Marty who hungrily ate. Tasha rewarded Valentine with a kiss. "Well done." Tasha replied. "Anything for you." Valentine said. As they soared through the sky, Valentine then sensed something coming at them. Quickly standing up, and getting his basin of water ready he attacked. Jo prepared herself for the worst only to see that the water streamed over her head and whipped away an incoming fire ball. Tasha became wary and got herself ready for battle. "Marty, get down!!" Jo ordered and Marty took cover. The three benders got themselves ready for battle. |

Enemy Terrence13 Years Ago"Tasha, get Mochi to go lower to see who our enemies are," I said.
"Right away!" said Tasha. "Hey girl, lower down a bit." Mochi goes down lower and we can see ships - Equalist ships surrounding all the mountains that lead to the Air Temples. "Equalist," I said. "They're after me!" "Well thanks a lot because now, they're after us too!" said Valentine. "Valentine, this isn't the time!" yell Tasha. Mochi flies around faster, dodging fire balls. Suddenly from far away, I spot a long silver black ponytail on what looks to be the admiral of the fleet of the ships with the black and gray armor uniform go into the lower deck. "Shane," I whisper. "Huh?" said Tasha. "He's here?" said Marty. "Yeah," I said. "He was the Sheriff of the Police Force of Republic City. He was suspecting me of being a fire bender and wouldn't go away. But then when he tried to give the death penalty to a innocent guy for having books about bending, I breath fire at his face and took off and that was when you guys saw me and Marty running after from the mob." "How strong is he?" ask Tasha. "Tough, but we can take him no problem," I said. "But have you guys ever faced a Equalist?" Tasha and Valentine go silent. Tasha sighs. "I haven't seen them since I was little, running away from them." "Equalists use chi-blocking, which - "We know what it does," said Valentine. "It stops our bending ability. What do you think we are, stupid? I got twin swords and my love has a staff to fight with just in case." "But chi-blocking can paralyze your limbs too," I said. "I know because in the Center Republic, East Republic, North Republic, South Republic, and West Republic, it is require in schools to teach students chi-blocking." "So you know it?" said Valentine. "You're a traitor to even your own people!" "VALENTINE!" shout Tasha. "Can you forget for one second that she is a fire bender?" Valentine exhales and stops. "Drop me off at Shane's ship," I said. "It's personal between me and him. You two can take down the other ones. Marty, you're staying on Mochi." Marty nods his head and his gold eyes show worry. "Be careful, sissy. Please." I give him a smile and hug him. "Don't worry," said Tasha. "Mochi will take good care of Marty." I nod my head. "Let's go." "NOW MOCHI!" command Tasha. Mochi swoops down among the Equalist ships. Valentine jumps down on one, Tasha the next, and me, I jump down to Shane's. |

Teen Adult13 Years AgoWhen I land on Shane's ship, all of the navy members on board turn to me and charge at me.
"Now that I can do fire bending," I said. "This should just take a blast to do!" FINISH LATER! |

Re: Avatar: The Legends In Republic City13 Years AgoTasha found herself surrounded, the navy men instantly charging at her. She easily dodged their bullet like movements as the men attempted to jab any part that would block her chi. Tasha kicked one under the chin, using her staff to blow the ones that charged from behind, causing them to fly back and fall in the ocean. Making an air scooter, she knocked them down one by one and flew up the ship, taking a running start and rocketing herself into the ship.
"For the record, I learned a few new things." Tasha mentioned. "Did you know air and rip through sound?" As she gathered enough speed, she shot through the metal ships, the ship exploding with a deafening boom. The bits of metal flying into the air. Marty frantically looked down, trying to find Tasha among the rubble, till Tasha appeared soaring through the air and landing on Mochi. Her hair was crazed, sticking out and her clothes also sticking out oddly. "Side effect of a sonic boom, leaves you looking like a wreck." Tasha joked. Looking back down they spotted Valentine easily maneuvering past the attempts of chi blocking, using the sea to sweep up the men and make them fall into the water, freezing them in place. He had a calm smile on his face, twirling as a female tried grabbing at him; she only fell over board. "Sorry I'm taken." Valentine said jokingly. Raising his hands, the ship suddenly shot into the air. The men grabbed onto the edges, the water making the ship sway and taking them into sky. Mochi then soared in, Valentine hopping off and easily landing on the bison. With a simple turn of his hand, the ship fell, now upside down and landing with a slap back in the ocean. "That sounded painful." Tasha said. "Bet it was." Valentine said, searching and spotting the last boat. "We should get out of here." Valentine said. "No, Jo's still down there." Tasha said. As Valentine was about to say something rude, he found a staff pointing at the bridge of his nose and Tasha warned "One rude insult and I whack you off this bison!!" Valentine put his hands up in surrender and remained quiet. Tasha turned back to the sky, soon spotting a whole fleet of ships. "Crap, we need to block them off, Marty come here please." Tasha called, Marty coming over when summoned. She wrapped an arm around him and said "Hold on." "What about Valentine?" Marty asked. "I'll be fine kid." Valentine said, standing up straight. Tasha then whipped the saddle and they were soon zooming down to the sea. Valentine remained standing where he was, planting his feet firmly into Mochi's side and bring his hands over his head, bringing the water up and blowing at it, making it freeze. They continued to fly about, making a large ice wall, the boats soon loading fire balls into cannons. Tasha passed the rope to Marty who gripped it with his life. Tasha took her staff and swatted causing a wave of air to make the balls go back and hit the ships instead. Valentine continued making the wall of ice, making it thicker and thicker, sweat rolling down his face. Marty turned back, seeing one of Valentines long sleeves roll down to reveal a horrible burn, his eyes widening. Valentine noticed the stare quickly rolled up the sleeve. "Marty, pull at the rope!" Tasha ordered, Marty doing so and Mochi flying up. Tasha nearly lost her balance but Valentine caught her, helping her back on her feet. "Hold them off!" Valentine said. "Trying to!" Tasha said and continued blocking the fire balls. |
