On Our Way

The Chief closes the doors behind us inside his home and turns around to us with a face of serious discussion. "Kaarina told me that you kids are planning to fight back against the empire. One day, I want to take back my people's entire tribe, but.... It's not the right time. There is only eleven of us, including me. We can't possibly take down all of those Equalist."
"I understand how you feel, but we'll be on the battlefield too and Valentine, Tasha, and I are beyond extraordinary benders," I said.
"I just don't want to risk losing any more of my people.... Or my son and his new wife," said the Chief, softly.
Valentine sighs.
"We're not saying to attack tomorrow or even last week," I explain. "Besides, it's not safe now anyways with Shane, Emperor Amon's admiral, still here. Unlike he thinks we're gone and leaves and the troops of the South Republic Pole relax, we will just be training and planning our moves out."
"We're visiting Ba Sing Se too to see King Boomie," add Tasha. "He'll give us advice on how to handle this."
"King Boomie is still alive?" said the Chief, surprise.
"Yeah, but Emperor Amon put him in some prison," said Valentine.
"I'm surprise he didn't execute him," said the Chief. "But anyways...... I'll do it, but we're not going to make an attack until my say so. I want to train my people hard until they are ready and you guys have a excellent and safe plan that guarantees that we will win."
We nod our heads.
I shake the Chief's hand firmly. "I promise you that it will be successful."
~*~
"So, he's really, really, really, really, really old?"
"Yes Marty," I answer, as we sit on Mochi with Valentine and Tasha driving her through the morning sky.
"How did he live for so long?" ask Marty, curious.
"No idea, but you can ask him when we meet him," I said.
Tasha turns her head around with concern. "Joey, can we talk?"
"Sure," I said.
Tasha gives Mochi's leash to Valentine.
"Marty," I begin. "Go over to Valentine. He'll teach you how to fly Mochi!"
"ALRIGHT!" Marty hurries over by Valentine's side. Valentine turns his head around and gives me an annoyed look.
"Just do it Valentine," said Tasha.
He exhales and turns back forward.
"So, what's up?" I question Tasha.
"When I was out........ I was in the Spirit World and talked with my grandfather, Avatar Aang. He introduced me to............... Your father," she said, sadly and quiet enough so I can hear, but the others can't.
"My father........"
My body and mind go numb.
"He's alive, don't worry, but he says to stay away from Emperor Amon."
I raise my eyebrows. "Why?"
"He just says that he knows someone that knows you and Marty and says that he figures out who you guys are, he'll tell them and they can be able to wipe out your race," explain Tasha.
"WHAT?" I said. "Did he say who?"
"No, I woke up," said Tasha.
".......... Did he say where he is?"
"No because he says you're needed here........ He's in coma."
I pause for what seem to be a hour.
"That's all?"
"Yeah," said Tasha.
"Well I don't think we'll see Emperor Amon until we go out in the South Republic Pole which won't be a while. As long as Marty stays away and I wear a disguise when fighting, we should be fine," I said.
Tasha looks down, even more in despair.
"Tasha, I am going to fight no matter what. You, Valentine, and the Southern Water Tribe need me to be on your side anyways!"
Tasha exhales. "I know. I wish there was another way, but there isn't. Just.... Be careful."
"I will," I said.
I lay down on Mochi, looking at the sky once again. It is a lighter blue then usual fill with white clouds that don't seem to be moving.
"You know," she said. "He actually looks a lot like you."
I give a smirk. "Really?"
"Yeah..... He even sounds like you - well I mean what you would sound like if you were a guy," said Tasha.
"Thanks....... It's really nice to hear that. Marty doesn't remember anything at all - at least I have a image of him in my mind. I wish somehow that he could have that too," I said. "I know that one day though, we will find him...... We will."

I'm having a hard time getting a picture up....anyone know how?

Re: Avatar: The Legends In Republic City

(im more nervous that the pic will be all huge and make it hard to post. Can u describe the pic?)

Tasha and Joey remained in the back, Tasha soon giving Joey a smile and saying "Well even though he's not with you, he misses you just as much."
"Yeah, ya gonna tell MArty?" Joey asked.
"Well, he's still young." Tasha said. "I'm afraid it'll be too much for him."
"Hmm....you're right." Joey said and turned to Joey and Valentine who was apparently talking to Marty.
"What're you two talking about?" Joey asked.
"Now Marty if you tug the leash like so." Valentine said jerking the leash and making Mochi preform a flip in the air, the two girls screaming along the way as they gripped the saddle for dear life before settling.
"And that is how ya do it." Valentine said, Marty smiling broadly.
"AWESOME!! LET ME TRY!!" Marty said excitedly. He took the leash and yanked, Mochi bucking and doing back flips in the air. The two screamed, Valentine only laughing hysterically. As Mochi settled, Marty was laughing as hard as Valentine.
"That was fun!!" Marty said.
"Sure was!" Valentine said.
The two then felt a looming pressence behind them. Turning they found an angered Tasha who held her staff in her hands.
SMACK, SMACK!
Tasha took the leash back as the two boys coward behind Joey who said "Uh, Tasha I don't think violence will solve anything..."
Tasha sent her a glare and Joey remained quiet.

What Taokaka look's like:

Re: Avatar: The Legends In Republic City

(Since Taokaka is gonna be in the second book, I'll use/borrow C.A.Jordon's character since he hasn't put anything up, but two post's till he desides to come back -if he ever will.)

Back in Republic City, the young man with his scimitar at his side, his light brown hair blowing in the wind and his light hazel eyes filled with bordom walked down the streets with tons of Equalists hunting down any sign of a bender and taking them to their deaths.
Good thing I can't bend well. I would be dead if I could control it. The young man thought.
"You there, who are you?" And Equalist asked the young man. "Are you a bender?"
"Hmm? No, I'm not a bender. I'm just a traviling mercinary. My name is Kendall Darnell." Said boy Kendall said.
"You aren't? Well okay. Just needed to check." The Equlist said and waked off to continue patroling.
That was a close one. Kendall thought.
He walked into an inn and payed for a room to stay the night in.
~*~
The next day, Kendall woke up, ate breakfast and headed out agan to look for something to do. He walked around for a while till he got tired and took a rest at a bench. He got a soda can from a nearby vening machine and chugged it down along with a bag of chips.
"What shound I do today...Go to a Pro Chi-blocking tornament?" Kendall said to himself. After thinking for a while, he stood up as he finnished his snack, tossing it in the trash and declared, "Pro Chi-blocking tornament it is."
Kendall walked up to a large stadium with a roaring crowd making joyous noise. He walked to the ticket booth and got himself a ticket, walking into the loud stadium with screaming fans.
     "Fredric you rock!"
     "Go Rory! You got this!"
     "Sean!"
"Belle is gonna win this, just watch!"
Kendall walked over to a seat and began to watch the tounament of Pro Chi-blockers beating eachother up and evading hits.
Once it was over, Kendall left and headed into a clothing store. He looked around to see if he could find any clothes he liked that wouldn't get him to be questioned by, finally finding something he liked. It was a dark brown shirt with a black vest, storm gray jeans and dark green shoes.
~*~
Kendall was beginning to grow tired of Republic City until there was a sword class he spotted.
"Finally something worth coming here for!" He said running into the building. He was welcomed to all sorts of people sparing with eachother and was itching to find someone to spare with too.
"You look like you wanna sparing partner." A girl said from behind Kendall.     "Huh? Who are you?" He asked.
"Mary Cole." Said girl Mary said and held a sword up to his nose. "And I'm your sparring partner!"

(WHEW! I'm on a roll! This'll be for the lost time he missed.)

Kendall grined and unshethed his blade, stepping back and declaired, "You're on."   Mary swiped at Kendall with her razer blade, the handle a midnight blue and the blade silver, Kandall quickly blocking it with his scimitar. The two brawled it out, neither landing a hit, only blocking until Kendall unequipted Mary, holding his weapon to her throght.
"Y-you're better than what I thought." Mary said her back against the wooden floor.
"Really? I'm glad someone agrees on my power." Kendall bragged.
"I gotta hand it to ya, you're well on your way to be qualified to be a part of the Cut team." Mary said moving the scimitar out of her way and standing back up.     "The 'Cut' team?" Kendall asked.
"Yeah, there a team of Pro swordsmen, but...." Mary said stopping midway.     "But what?!" Kendall asked.
"They disbanded three years ago and haven't been heard of since. To this day, all swordsmen want to be just like them. As Pro as they can be." Mary said. She looked down at her wrist and had a shocked face. "Oh my, is it that time already?! Sorry, I have to go."
"Okay." Kendall said and left soon after, heading back to the inn and rested the night.
~*~
Morning came again and Kendall woke up early and ready to leave Republic City and head out to another place.
"Yo! I'm leaving so, could you open the gates?" Kendall asked as he came upon the gates when he first came.
"Sure, hold on a sec." The guard said opening the gate. "There you go."
"Thanks." Kendall said waving them good bye and continued his traviling.
~*~
After walking for hours on end, he walked into an empty forest and decided to set up camp and try out his Earth bending skills.
"Okay, lets try this again." Kendall said getting in a fighting stance. He cleared his mind and gave a punch in the air. Nothing. "God! Why isn't it doing anything?!" There was a moment of silence. "Okay, let's try this again...I have to master my bending..."
Kendall took his stance again and cleared his mind of everything once again. He waited a moment and flashed his eyes open, punching and kicking in the air, the ground in front of him moving and hitting a tree.
"Yes! It worked this time!" Kendall cheered. "Well...that ought to do it for today...I'm starving."
Kendall took his scimitar and went out to find him some dinner. He came back with a dead chicken, rosting it over the fire and eating it.
~*~
The next day Kendall slept in for a while, eventually getting, packing away and was on his way to who know's where else.

Mysterious Island

(Back! And C.A. Jordan didn't get back to me yet.)
It is getting to a starry night with everyone beginning to grow tired.
Mochi gives the loudest yawn that I can even hear clearly from the back with Marty.
"Mochi's getting tired," said Tasha.
"Already?" said Valentine.
"Don't worry - we will make it to Ba Sing Se tomorrow," said Tasha. "We just need somewhere to land now."
"How will we find something in the middle of the ocean?" ask Valentine.
I doze off lazily until something catches my eye.
"WAIT!"
I stand up with my hand straight above my eyes. "I see a island!"
"What?" said Valentine.
"Really?" said Marty, suddenly up and full of energy.
"Yeah - looks like a jungle!" I yell.
"Mochi, ready to land?" question Tasha.
Mochi swoops down immediately, not waiting any longer to go to sleep.

Re: Avatar: The Legends In Republic City

They landed safely on the island, Mochi yawning and with a groan/roar fell on her side and fell asleep. Tasha chuckled lightly as she patted Mochi on the side of her chin and whispered "Good night girl."
Marty was clinging to Joey who soon picked him up and tried finding a place besides Mochi. Valentine rolled out a mat and looked over at Tasha who simply curled into a ball and fell asleep, with a laugh he soon followed.

(Got C.A. Jordan's permission to use his character!)
I look around the island.
It really looks like a old tropical island - like something that Emperor Amon V didn't gain control of!
I shut my eyes and knock out on to the sand.

Night Terrors

Though everyone was currently fast asleep, Tasha's eyes scrunched and unscrunched to her dream that she was having. She groaned, tossing and turning in her sleep till she accidentally punched Valentine in the side making him bellow "Ouch!"
"Whats's wrong?" Joey asked, rising up instantly. She was too accustomed to the sounds of marching feet of the Equalists making her a light sleep just in case they would one day decide to barge in.
"Tasha punched me that's all." Valentine mumbled, rubbing his side. He looked over, seeing Tasha flail in her sleep. He shimmied out of his sleeping bag and walked over, taking Tasha's wrists and pinning her to the ground as she began kicking at the air.
"What's wrong?" Joey asked.
"She's having a Night Terror." Valentine said. "We need to move out."
"Aren't you gonna wake her?" Joey asked.
"Bad idea, that'll only cause a typhoon." Valentine replied. He was able to shake Mochi and  Beck awake to get them to load up and soon get ready to fly. "When she has Night Terrors, it normally means she's seeing a vision."
"Really?" Joey asked, looking back. She saw the arrows implanted on her skin begin to fade in and out again. Valentine grabbed Joey's wrist and threw her aboard Mochi, finding his place on the saddle and taking the reins.
"We;re just gonna leave her?" Joey asked.
"The only way for both our safety." Valentine said. "Hang on tight to Marty."
Joey did so and they took off.
~ * ~
Tasha could feel her hands being seized and being dragged away down the familiar halls of the Air Temples. She should've known this was a trap, a way to only lure her in. She struggled and screamed but none could hear her not even Mochi with her advanced hearing. She was thrown into a room, seeing the so called 'monks' she grew up with to only be Equalists. Amon was soon there, glaring down and ordering his men to hold her down and ensure she couldn't move. Tasha was terrified unsure of what to do as millions of thoughts soon silenced. She felt the pulling deep within her gut and her arrows glowed as if the Avatar and the Equalists backed away. The scene then transitioned and she was looking upon a burning city, Valentine beside her with blood covering his robes and tears streaming down his face. He looked over at Tasha in completely fear till he withered away to ashes. She screamed out to him, which soon to jolt her awake.

Tasha looked around, finding herself utterly alone. The trees on the tropical island with thrown over like sticks, sand every where, and sleeping in a large crater. Tasha was breathless as she tried taking in the vivid dream. She trembled and gripped her shirt where her heart was beating under. As her breathing slowed she heard "You ok?" Looking up, she found Valentine who looked around.
"Gave us quite a scare last night." Valentine said.
"I bet I did." Tasha said and averted her eyes. Valentine put a hand out which Tasha gladly took and was helped to her feet.
"Wanna talk about it?" Valentine asked.
"No...not really." Tasha replied.
"Then I'll help you calm down." Valentine said kindly. With a sigh, Tasha sat back down removing the ties in the back so her back was shown. Valentine, using his water bending, had the water wrap around his hands like gloves and place them on her back as if pulling the negative energy from his.
"I feel a lot of tension here." Valentine brought up.
"I bet." Tasha replied.
"You gonna be ok?" another voice asked. Tasha turned to find Joey, Marty some distance off playing with Mochi and Beck. Tasha sighed but put on a smile as she replied "Yeah, Valentine's therapy normally helps me. So don't worry."
Joey didn't believe it. Even though Tasha liked to put others before herself, she always had something that seemed to hold her back from being selfish.

Kaj walked around the city, carfully avoiding the cars (if they were called that) that were rushing by.
"Okay, so mum and papa sent me here to... what did they say? We don't need clothes, food or anything else. It was..."

"Remember, we are sending you here to treat yourself because you're old enough to go on your own. You need to see more of the world, and to do that, you should also learn to treat yourself. This money is for you to enjoy yourself in the city."

"Okay, I remember now!" Kaj said happily, then shut up as she saw the passing by people looking at her strangely. "I better go and do that then. I'm supposed to be stealthy."
Kaj walked around and looked at the stores. "I don't need clothes, bags or anything like that so--" Kaj whispered and then stopped as she smelled the wonderful waft of cooking meat, "--I guess this is what's calling me!" She finished happily as she ran towards the smell.
Kaj reached the booth and looked at the meat glistening in the sauce.
"What would you like to buy?" The lady asked Kaj.
"Um, how much is it?" Kaj asked shyly.
"Just 100 yuan," The lady replied.
"And what does that note look like?" Kaj asked innocently.
"Are you buying or not?" The lady asked, irritated. "And it looks like this," She finished, holding up a note.
Kaj looked into her pokect and said, "One of those please."
"Of course," The lady replied, the sale's woman voice returned as she handed the meat to Kaj and Kaj handed her the money.
"Have a nice day!" Kaj called back as she walked off.

The flight to Ba Sing Se was dangerous. Since Tasha was driving and the bags under her eyes showed her lack of sleep, Tasha insisted on driving. She would sway, sending a slight tug to the leash and making Mochi take a sharp left and Valentine would have to take the leash and straighten her. The two argued about who should drive, Tasha winning easily and resumed driving.
"This isn't safe." Joey whispered to Valentine once he crawled back over to his spot. Tasha gave a big yawn and rubbed her eyes.
"I know, so I'm waiting till she falls asleep." Valentine said. "That way, I can take the leash."
"I heard that." Tasha grumbled.
"Let me drive then." Valentine said. With a grumble, Tasha passed the leash to him and found her place beside him, trying to stay awake. But in a matter of seconds, Tasha had passed out while meditating.

Re: Avatar: The Legends In Republic City

The nights were long but cool, Joey holding her brother closely while Tasha was still asleep in the same meditating position. Valentine kept his focus on his driving. Joey scotted over towards him once placing Marty in a lying down position and went to join Valentine beside him. "Hey." she greeted. "Shouldn't you be asleep?" Valentine instantly asked. "Wanted to keep you company if ya wanted." Joey said, glaring. "Sorry, force of habit." Valentine said, giving her a smile and Joey returning. She looked at the leash which was loosely in his grip so she asked "How do you drive a flying bison?" "It's quite easy once you get a lesson." Valentine explained. "When you yank it hard, that tells Mochi to stop." "I've noticed." Joey said. "But you gotta tug and whip it a certain way or she won't respond." Valentine said. "Like once someone tried to rob Mochi but was stuck in the same place no matter what he did. You know the story of how Avatar Aang lost his bison?" "Yeah, that's legendary." Joey said. "I couldn't picture Tasha like ho her grandfather acted." Valentine said, turning back and looking at the sleeping Tasha. "She may seem strong, but she hates troubling people." "I know." Joey said. "She likes putting people before herself doesn't she?" Valentine nodded. "Like how you are with Marty." Valentine said. "You never let him out of your sight but that's good....but also bad." "Bad?" Joey asked. "If you continue babying him like this...he'll alays expect your help in the future." Valentine said. "He needs to learn firebending if you want the firebender legecy to live on." "What about you?" Joey asked. "True...I never like Tasha out of my line of vision but that's cause she saved me back then...I don't want to lose anyone else I love." Joey only looked at him then turned her attention back on the clouds. As they traveled, the sun began to slowly rise, Tasha blinking herself awake and soon yawning. She looked around, realizing she had dozed off. "Valentine?" Tasha asked. "Still awake." Valentine informed. Joey smiled and said "Had a nice sleep?" "Yeah." Tasha said and made her way over to besides Valentine, she took the reins from him and said "I can drive, you rest." She was greeted with a kiss as Valentine said "I expect payment." "Of course you do." Tasha said jokingly. She turned to Joey and said "You can sleep too, the Equalists can't get us and if we have smooth sailing, we should arrive to Ba Sing Se in about to or three hours." Joey nodded as she made her way over to the still sleeping Marty and made herself comfortable before drifting to sleep. (i'll keep writing until someone replies to keep this thread alive. I'm all inspired now)

Same Place

The next morning, I wake up and look over to see Marty still asleep.
I knew what Valentine meant, but he's still only six-years-old. But I admit one thing though, I wish I knew specifically what caused Marty to fear fire bending - all I know that it was that night.....
"We should be to Ba Sing Se now in no time!" said Valentine.
"Finally," I said, yawning. "It feels like we've been flying in circles."
"Yeah, but that's because we've been flying over water all this time to get to Ba Sing Se and it all looks the same," said Valentine.
"No body of water is the same," said Tasha.
I turn my head down to the water itself. "Actually, it looks exactly the same since we left that island."
"Yeah, like we are actually flying in circles around the spooky island all this time," said Valentine.
"I don't mean to sound weird, but... Maybe we are," I said.
"How?" said Valentine.
"No, I agree with Joey," said Tasha. "Something doesn't feel right..."

Kidnapped

Tasha looked around, the scenery seemed to be the same. But she wanted to make sure. She stopped Mochi who let out a low grumble and stopped in place.
"Something wrong?" Joey asked.
"I'm gonna check this out." Tasha said, taking her staff. "Stay on Mochi until I resurface."
"I should be the one going down there not you." Valentine said.
"I have a feeling this isn't just some crazy trick Val." Tasha said. Looking in her eyes Valentine understood and backed off a bit. Tasha went to the edge and jumped, diving into the water. She used her staff to propel herself underwater, checking out the underwater world to see if anything was out of the ordinary. As she was swimming, a large blackened figure swam by. Tasha checked the area, scaring some of the fish along the way but finding nothing out of the ordinary.
Nothing seems out of place..... Tasha thought and turned about to resurface till she was met with a large eye that had her frozen in its stare.

Valentine was pacing now, tapping his foot whenever he stopped and then continued pacing. Joey was growing tired of sitting there watching so she announced "I'm going in after her."
"If you go in there, you can't firebend." Valentine said. "I should go."
Beck then began to growl, catching their attention.
"Beck? What's wrong?" Marty asked who had been lying beside him. Valentine looked over the side of Mochi only to see rising bubbles resurfacing from the water. A large bubble then formed and when it popped Tasha came flying out with a tentacle following in hot pursuit.
"A squid?!" Joey asked watching as Tasha tried navigating herself in the air with her glider. The tentacle was then joined by five more which tried grabbing at her like trying to catch a fly.
"Tasha this way!!" Valentine called. He used his water bending to freeze at the tentacles to immobilize it. But it easily broke free. Joey stepped forward and was about to strike it with lightening but Tasha screamed "DON'T HURT IT!!!"
"But its attacking you!" Joey called back only to feel water dripping from above. Looking up they saw a sixth tentacle rise into the air. Valentine quickly went for the reins and slapped it, making Mochi bolt away before they were smashed. They evaded the tentacles, Valentine stirring as Joey and Marty gripped the saddle for dear life. As Tasha did a loop in the air, a tentacle had managed to smack her out of the air which made her loose her grip on her prized staff and fall.
"TASHA!!" Valentine screeched, watching his girlfriend being wrapped in the tentacles grip and being pulled down into the water. The tentacles followed the one that had imprisoned Tasha. Valentine looked around frantically before he made a dive for it. Joey gripped her brother and they hung on.
"HOLD ON!" Joey cried as they plunged into the sea with them. Joey expected them to drown only to see they were surrounded in a large bubble, Valentine making the large bubble.
"Joey look!" Marty said pointing to the flying fish.
"Whoa..." Joey said.
"Marty come here." Valentine said, Marty crawling over next to him. "I can't steer Mochi like this so you drive."
"Really?!" Marty asked excitedly. He took the reins and began to steer, slapping the the reins and Mochi flying around the underwater land.
"I'll look for Tasha." Joey said, scanning the area.
"Good...Whatever that thing was, knew what it wanted." Valentine said and the three continued on.

Follow Where It Leads

"I never saw anything like it," I said. "But than again, I only lived in Republic City nearly my whole life until nearly two weeks ago."
"Maybe it's magical or something," said Valentine.
"Be right back," I said. "I'll fly around until I see it." I turn into a torch of lightning and bolt off Mochi, striking through the sky. I turn my head forward to see the flying fish with Tasha, going straight. I appear right behind it, raising my right hand to attack.
"No," mouths Tasha, shaking her head.
The flying fish stops and eyes behind it and all around, suspiciously.
Luckily, I am faster.
It turns back forward and starts flying again.
I sigh. I guess I should just follow it unseen to see what the unique creature wants.

Meeting the spirit of Time

(do u know were underwater? i got a little confused, i'll re-read the post but here we go)

Tasha kept herself alive by creating a bubble of air for herself to breathe. She attempted escape but the tentacle only tightened its grip around her. She was brought to an underwater cave, the unknown being zooming through and throwing Tasha up despite the pressure. Tasha was soon above water and fell on her front coughing as she tried comprehending where she was. As she got up, she looked around only to be met wit mountains and mountains of gold. Her eyes were wide as she muttered "Amazing."
'Thank you...' a voice responded making her jump. She turned back to the large pond that was behind her only to be met with a giant squid whose goat like eyes watched her.
"A spirit, so my hunch was right." Tasha said breathlessly. "I'm guessing your the cause of the time loop?"
'You are correct." the spirit replied. 'I have waited years to meet you....one of the surviving Air Nomads here....It truly is an honor.'
"I'm not the Avatar." Tasha instantly replied.
There was a pause.
"It is true that Avatr Aang is my grandfather...but that is the only connection." Tasha continued. "I was only gifted of walking and speaking with the spirit world."
The spirit seemed upset.
'That is a shame...' the spirit replied. 'But all is not lost....'
Tasha looked at him confused. A tentacle emerged from the water and reached over towards the pile of gold. It shuffled through the pile till it pulled an Air Nomad necklace with the crest of the element Air carved into wood. It was handed to Tasha who took it with great pride.
"This was your grandfathers..." the spirit replied. "He told me to hand it down to the next generation when I got the chance...This is fate I believe."
"Me too." Tasha replied. She placed the necklace around her neck, feeling closer to her grandfather whom she looked up too. Bubbling was then seen and Joey emerged  Tasha gasping "Joey!"
"Tasha, I'm here to save you!" Joey said.
"It's okay Joey, I'm fine." Tasha said. "He's a spirit, the one that kept us in that loop for so long."
Joey turned, her eyes wide as she said "A spirit."
"Offspring of the great Fire Lord...we meet at last." the spirit said. "I am proud to see you alright..."
"Fire Lord?" Joey asked.
"Yes...you're father traveled here, telling me to send his offspring a message if I ever got the chance." the spirit said. "He warns Beware of the Dark one, One who all benders fear...
"Amon." the two whispered.
'You're party of benders if far from complete, bring the nations together and destroy this tyrant." the spirit said. "Please...bending is not a weapon, but a gift from the spirit themselves."
The two nodded, the squid putting a tentacle out and allowing the two on. He wrapped them up and dived back down to return them.

Valentine resurfaced with Marty, Mochi shaking her fur as she tried drying herself off.
"Nothing." Valentine grumbled.
"Will we ever see them again?" Marty asked, fearing the worst. Right on cue, a tentacle emerged from the water and placed Tasha and Joey on Mochi's back. The tentacle then fell back and as it splashed, a ripple reverberated through the land; the benders feeling the loop broken.
"A spirit?" Valentine asked.
"Yes." Tasha breathed out.
"JOEY!!!" Marty squealed and embraced his sister tight, sobbing into her shoulder. Joey hugged him tightly as she whispered "It's okay...I'm here."
With a smile, Tasha took the reins and they continued on their journey to Ba Sing Se.

Re: Avatar: The Legends In Republic City

"That's it?" ask Valentine, surprise. "That's ALL that spirit said?"
"Pretty much," I answer.
He sighs. "Well what about me and Marty?"
"Marty is the offspring of the Fire Lord throne too," I add.
"Oh yeah," said Valentine, sighing.
Tasha hits him with her staff on his head.
"OW!" he cry.
"Stop being a baby and feeling sorry for yourself!" order Tasha.
Valentine exhales. "Okay whatever. NOW we should be getting to Ba Sing Se."

Ba Sing Se

The seas were far behind them now, Mochi giving a low roar as they arrived to rocky mountains and clouds lazily breezing by. Marty tried reaching out to grab on, nearly falling off but Beck was able to catch him before falling. Joey was sitting back, enjoying the peaceful atmosphere; running from Amon for so long had its toll.
"This is nice." Joey breathed out.
"Yeah, finally a breather." Valentine agreed.
"Well don't get too comfortable, Mochi needs a break soon and we're nearly at Ba Sing Se gates." Tasha said. Mochi gave a grumble Tasha replying "Don't worry girl, we're almost there."
Marty looked up and smiled widely as he cried "Look, look, Ba Sing Se!!"
Tasha smiled and said "Yup, here we come!! King Boomie wait for us!"
As they reached the gates, their smiles were wiped from their faces as they closed in, seeing Equalist tanks and soldiers guarding the gates. Tasha turned, landing far from the plains and hiding in a cave not too far away.
"This is bad..." Tasha said.
"Yeah, we got passports though." Valentine said.
"Uh..." Joey mumbled.
"Of course there's a flaw...." Valentine mumbled. "Don't worry I got this covered."
He pulled out a bag filled with passports, flipping through them.
"You have this many?!" Joey asked, shocked.
"Enough to let us have our freedom." Valentine said.
"I still don't like it...." Tasha mumbled.
Valentine only rolled his eyes as he handed one to Joey, a girl who looked somewhat like her and soon found one for Marty. He handed Tasha one who shook her head no.
"I need to find a place for Mochi and Beck." Tasha said. "I'll be fine."
She hopped back on Mochi and with a "Yip, yip" was soaring through the sky. Joey could see Tasha form a cloud around her.
"Why didn't she just take us all?" Marty asked.
"She was afraid if we got captured not all of us would be taken." Valentine said and stuffed the items back in. "Come on."

They passe the check out easily, now searching the city for Tasha. Joey then smelled something amazing, following her nose she came to a stand where delicious looking food was being made. As she looked it over, the woman asked "Have money?"
"Uh..." Joey replied until Valentine gave her a gold coin and took everything they had.
"Thanks." Valentine said, taking the food and Joey and dragging her away.
"She should be here somewhere..." Valentine mumbled till a girl ran into him, nearly making him drop the food for Beck.
"Whoops sorry." the girl replied.
"No problem." Valentine replied, checking his pockets and finding his wallet; just in case the girl wasn't a pick pocketer. The girl only smiled as she whispered can I come wit you?"
"uh..." Valentine replied.
"Sure." Joey said and was hugged by the girl.
"Lead the way!" the girl said and they continued their search for Tasha.
"So whats ur name?" Valentine asked.
"Kaj, just Kaj." Kaj replied, and followed.
