Heartbreak Poets Forum Does brutal gore have a place ..

I'm just curious about whether excessive gore in a heartbreak poem is exceptable or not to everybody. Tell me your veiws on the subject.

I feel like heartbreak poems should be more about emotional pain then gore

i would've given a straight "no" not so long ago- i've seen it used well since then though. not something i LIKE in any write. i'm just that kinda person. but sometimes- it works.
