For some reason, I am not receiving contest updates nor am I receiving any poem or story submission announcements. I am a member but why aren't I getting any information through my writerscafe page?

I've only been getting notifications of direct emails/PMs for a while now.  Others come, only appear as a little message or comment icon up in the corner of my screen.  Something's not working right.
