Hi every one! Everyone I know calls me B, so I'll just go with that. I have been writing for as long as I can remember, but I've never really done anything online with it, unless you count facebook. I usually share with friends and family, and some creative writing classes in college, so this should be fun. I tend to write whatever is on my mind. I look forward to seeing what an online writing forum is like. 

Hello strangers. I'm Liss. I'm not sure what to say...Whenever I have to introduce myself and/or provide a brief summary of myself, it sends me into this existential spiral. I suppose I'll just say why I signed up & what I'm interested in. I want to join a writing community. Talk to fellow writers to share ideas, insights, & cronstructive criticism. Possibly collaborate on a project. I currently live in an area that has no writing groups...or much of anything for that matter. Now, a little bit about me. I like to write science fiction, horror, & fantasy. My writing style is inspired by Joss Wheadon, & Richard Matheson. It's important for me to make a fantastic, far-out story realistic with the characters behavior. I like to write short stories, & I'm currently working on a book (well for 8 years now). I wanted to write for television, but I'm now leaning towards writing for video games. Besides being an avid gamer, I want to make more games with a beautiful story line. From my experience, it seems a lot of games don't want to bother with the story. There are some that care for the story, like "The Last Of Us", & "Bioshock". I'd like to create more games with a story that's cared for. I'd also like to write more games with a female lead. I know most gaming companies don't like female leads because they believe it won't make enough money. I want to change that. Write a female lead that is bada** without being overtly sexy. There are a lot of girl gamers out there that I think would appreciate that. I'm also interested in writing 'Choose Your Own Adventure' games. I've just started writing, well trying to write. I'm having some trouble, so I'd appreciate some help in that area if anyone out there is familiar in that type of writing. Well, I think that's enough about me for now. I just want to connect with fellow writers.

Hi my name is Hullab and I am new to WritersCafe Im from Sunny Scotland and I have two short stories to offer, so far, my dilemma is that the first story "Finders Keepers" is autobiographical and had been cooking around my noodle for years. The second story I wrote in Two weeks and I've no idea where it came from, it came about as the result of an invitation to write something for a small writers group I Joined a couple of years ago, I was only there for a few months as it was held in a pub and as luck would have I'm an alcoholic in recovery, anyway the rest of the group penned a few lines and I rocked up with " Set One Up For George' they played it like I was some established writer masquerading as a novice, and if I'm honest its left me limbo like, I would consider it a blessing if some of you guys n gals could upbuild or tear down because i need to put this to bed or dark tower it.

Hi there, I'm Adrian and I've been writing for fun for years but wanted to push myself and start to pursue freelance opportunities! I love writing fiction, mainly fantasy, but am also looking to publish for science fiction and young adult genres as well as essay writing.
