The Interview...by Michael

The employment agency sent Barney on his first interview. He was fresh out of high school with no job experience, so the purpose would be for a trainee position. He was hired that day and it was a clerical job involving some paper work and filing to be done. Barney was so excited that he went out to celebrate his first interview and first job all in one day. That Friday evening he went to a local bar with a big smile on his face. A young lady who appeared to be only a few years older than him sat on a stool just to the right him. She was the same one who interviewed him at the employment agency. They recognized each other right away and he told her that he got the job. After chatting and drinking together for about forty five minutes, he excused himself and said to her, I'll be back in ten minutes". Bonnie said she will be there waiting for him to return. Two doors down from the bar was a flower shop. It only took ten minutes to return as he came back as promised. His one hand that was behind his back came forward in front of her face. A single red rose was presented to her as Barney said, "thank you for the interview". Business became pleasure that evening as the two of them got along and started to date each other. Four years later, roses were the theme of flower arrangements at their wedding....Maybe we get lucky in finding our first job. Then we get lucky in finding our first love. One and the same with cause and effect when first time things happens sometimes during the interview.....Case in point in a short love story about Barney and Bonnie, where love is interviewed and hired in the final results....
