Re: Doors12 Years Ago"From where do you come?" she said. "Why are you not like me?"

Re: Doors12 Years AgoBut before he can answer, the man's hands clasp around his throat, but do not squeeze, merely a threat.
"You say a word, and both of you die." He knows what is right, he knows that this innocent girl should not die, but she's one of them. One of the monsters. his life didn't matter, he's known that since he was raised as a Hunter, but hers... did hers matter? |

Re: Doors12 Years AgoFaintly, he thought he heard the young girl whisper into the air. Dropping his hands, he slowly approached her as if no longer intimidated by her presence. "...hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done..." Blasphemous! Was this creature uttering the Lord's Prayer? But how? But why? How could she not burst into flames?

Re: Doors12 Years AgoHer eyes seemed to wander greatly around the dark area. She didn't seem nervous anymore, but a calm, blank stare. She finished the prayer in a raspy voice.

Re: Doors12 Years AgoAs he starred into the girls calm eyes he felt a chill run along his spine and became frightened. Slowly a calm smile flickered across the girls face as the man took a step backwards. What was she? he thought with a shiver

Re: Doors12 Years AgoShe was not like the others... She was different.

Re: Doors12 Years AgoThe hands squeezed a little tighter around his neck, causing his face to turn just a shade of red. His body smelt of whisky, blood and other foul things. But the worst thing was his breath which stank of rotten meat and death.

Re: Doors12 Years AgoHis foul breath had now become a deterrence for the last ounce of dignity had left. What was the worst that could happen now since he became an embodiment of a crazed derelict?

Re: Doors12 Years AgoThe girl, from her suspended position in the air, turns her head to him. Her eyes shallow and grey, glassed over with some emotion unknown to him.
"Love and Loss. That is what I am. I am made of made of sorrow. My bones of secrets and my heart of shattered glass. I am not like the ones you seek, but even so, you should not let me live." "Don't listen to her!" The man with the foul breath hisses, "I know what you can do, I know my hands 'round your neck do nothing to stop you from what you've been trained. But don't listen to her. She may not be a witch like you hunt, but she's far worse. Listen to me, I've kept her here for good reason, do not kill her." "In what sense could keeping a child locked up possibly be justified?" He growls back, but with some difficulty and shortness of breath. "Look at the state of her, death would be better." "But she's-" The man with the odor starts, but suddenly the girl's eyes turn blood red and she looks at him. "Do not." She commands, "Do not name me." "My life is worthless, I no longer care if I die." He releases his hands from the man's throat as he whispers softly in his ear, "She's the second Pandora's Box." A shrill shriek erupts from her throat and she falls to the ground in a burst of red light. (Sorry this is so long, I couldn't stop!) |

Re: Doors12 Years AgoThe girl's hair slid in front of her eyes. A red tear slid from her beautiful eyes. She inhaled heavily. She did not dare to move, as if her muscles forbidden her to. Her hands clutched to the floor in a panic. |

Re: Doors12 Years Ago"I don't want to be this though!" she sobbed, trembling violently. "y-you're the only one who can stop this." her large, pained eyes locked on the mans. He gravitated toward, unable to deny a pull he felt.

Re: Doors12 Years AgoHe moved towords her, something almost otherworldly controlling him.
Help me! Her eyes screamed as he managed to wipe the blood tear from her face. |

Re: Doors12 Years AgoHer mouth opens in an evil grimace as he puts his hands on either side of her head and twists, her neck snapping. She falls, her head at an odd angle and the grimace still on her lips. After a moment, her mouth opens unnaturally wide, her jaw unhinging. Grey shadows fly with a scream from her open throat.
"What have you done." The man with the foul breath whispers in horror, watching as the shadows with varying degrees of darkness erupt from deep within her, until she looks like nothing more than a doll. Devoid of life, like the shadows within her were her very soul. |

Re: Doors12 Years Ago"What have you done?" the man said again, nearly yelling. WIth a wild panic in his eyes, the man ripped the door open and fled without another word.

Re: Doors12 Years AgoAll he could do was stand there and stare at the mangled, lifeless body of the little girl. When he summoned the courage to glance aroumd, he saw shadows, shadows with faces and red.eyes. In the corners, on the ceiling, slithering silently up the columns of the bed. "What have I done?" he asks meekly. "What have I done?" a little louder. "What have I done?!?" He was screaming now and he kept screaming, louder and louder, over and over. He payed no attention to the motions the girl was starting to make, writhing on the floor, her head bent over backwards and her body twisting and turning and popping in a way that seemed to be satanic. Her eyes were naught but coals set in her sunken sockets.

Re: Doors12 Years Ago
“What have I
done…?” He said once more in a hushed manner till all went dark. All he could
see were the darting crimson eyes which seemingly compelled him. He could not
accept such a dastardly sin he had brought upon to such a girl, telling her he
was her friend and killing her soon after said man with such bad breath told of
him not to for she was the second Pandora’s box.
