New Member15 Years AgoI am a new member of this group. I have published several poems in magazines online and in books. However, right now I am interested in expanding myself to doing short stories as well. Does anyone have any advice or stories about how they went about publishing short stories?

THREAD MOVED15 Years AgoHello, I am Jay Geenen form Canada. I have my own web site at www.jaygeenen.com. Novels which I have written are 'The Iraqi SoluTion', 'Pieces of Eden' and 'Noon Day Sun'. I also have a novel in progress on the web as a free download called 'The Perfect ShOt' To download go to my site and click on works available, then the title and finally on the blue lettering saying 'watch the novel evolve day to day'. This story is about growing up on a farm in Saskatchewan, Canada and becoming one of the world's best curlers, an Olympic sport. Have a look, I enoy feed back by using the e-mail address on the site. I set up my own web site because traditional publishers took most of the rayalities. In Canada Macnalley Rand, a publisher owns Chapters, the book store. They only give new authors 7% of gross sales and keep all subsiduary rights. Any suggestions would be greatly apppreciated. jay
