The floorboards creek,
The waves smash.
Soldiers run frantically to their battle stations aboard the dreadnought,
All because they near their destination.
On the island people run frantically too,
But for different reasons.
They run,
Because they see that the dreadnought is approaching.
But as the enormous boat comes nearer,
The islanders know it is too late.
So,
They turn to fight.
When the boat draws near enough,
It fires the first shot.
And the battle begins.

DREADNOUGHT


Dark legions are gathering
Rising from the depths
Embracing those that get too close
A power they have
Darkness shrouds them
Never ending fear
Oh what a fright
Unleashing its terror
Grabbing the innocence
Holding them in the grip of fear
Taking deep in the shadows

war   it grips your soul, no one can see you in reality they can only see what you have on. just a soldier to triumph you have to be the best you have to be a dreadnought

Over board they go
No end to tragedy
Visions oh so frightening
Oh such fear felt
Long shadows wander
Unwilling to walk in the light
Taking the innocent into darkness
Embraced by the dark power
Deep into this realm they are taken

convince us all
life ends with
a happily ever after
all happy smiles
and pixie dust
nothing real
but here we sit
taking false comfort
in the lies of strangers
too far in
to even see
we need to get out
