To be or not to be

I had a curious conversation with someone who brings a considerable focus on issues, to see with the ' mind's eye,' as it were, ( in this case) the life of a soldier, when he had not done any soldering himself. I had thought it the preoccupation of sport commentators and news anchors but was surprised to find an incredible amount of, what the Indians would refer to as, devotion, in the practice. Something like this is definitely not for the faint hearted. As PG Wodehouse would say, ' bloody useful thing in situations when the pub has run dry.' I would add to that the fact that, it reminds those of us who create too strong an attachment to the purely physical definition of experiences, that it helps to be a little non-attached. The only thing constant in life is change.
