The Movie Makers Cafe Forum Need Conflict ideas

So I have an idea for an animated film regarding the rockabilly culture, taking place in summer of socal 1954. I have several ideas, however I am having an extremely difficult time thinking of a main plot/conflict for this story to go. If you guys have any suggestions, please help me out!
