Challenge # 20 will be photo-related only. I am curious what you guys will come up with when you examine this photo. It is no secret that the ocean has inspired many to write amazing literature. Immerse yourself in the possibilities nature offers you and do send me the link to review your poem. The first to write a poem will be our featured Versenator for the coming week. I will take it upon myself to review three of his/her poems once I receive the challenge entry. Also, please brace up for more news from the Versenators. Something very special is in the works. ;-)

out here on the edge of shoreline
listening to the siren breathe
Steady calming so disarming
to one who's seen her scream and rage
rising roaring in her fury
yet today a soothing sage
Wet in sand I stop and pause
sitting on a tiger's paws
soft green eyes and sheathed claws
This cat I've loved and ridden hard
clinging to a swinging yard
This lady who has let me be
free to sail and to regard
Her wilder windy winsome ways
but always on my guard
