cafe public forum issues

The benefits of keeping a low profile is that you steer clear of the drama that has been unfolding in the public forum recently. Some guy is hacking profiles, and under the guise of popular writers here, makes accusations of other popular writers.

just in case, i blocked a few profiles, though charles has already deleted them. I read a few of the posts and there is a lot of paranoia. It instantly reminded me of the Twilight Zone episode "The Monsters are Due on Maple Street."

people are running scared from the cafe it seems because they don't want to be hacked (actually, they just don't know the full extent of what the "hacker" is capable of and thus project a grand scale fear of losing all their work).

So with the twilight zone in mind, i hope ever one here in the wood beyond, remains the wood beyond the cafe.

Personally, I stay away from the public forums. Too much noise to signal ratio. Plus the discussions here keep me more than occupied. ::smile::
