On these threads, feel free to post about whatever, so long as it pertains to vocabulary. Threads can be about anything ranging from:

- Words with multiple meanings/Homonyms
- Commonly used words
- Alternative words/Synonyms
- Words that are no longer commonly used (eg. Old English vocabulary)

Welcome to WC! And you're right, a lot of people have a very vast bank of words to select from when they write.

Does my poem "Words" fit this description?

Actually, that wealth of words is available to us all. When I'm writing, I keep to hand a thesaurus, an English dictionary, a rhyming dictionary, and at least two foreign language dictionaries. Now days, it's easier than ever because they're all online.
