Writers Plus+ Forum Need an Ending

He's the last human on Earth. He's come to discover that he is immortal. He is going mad. Repeated tasks to keep him occupied (a la Sysiphus) does not help. Meditation for a year straight does not help. How can you be immortal in a world without peers? Where does his story end? What could he discover that might set him free (psychologically or physically)?
