Not sure what to do here but I will just post the poem here and perhaps someone can talk me through the site. Please. Imprints of You As I dwell here, wondering Your features imprint themselves deeply in my mind. I have perused your photographs time and again, Your every characteristic committed to memory. Your smile, the creases that inhabit the landscape Radiance returning the tenderness I see there. Your eyes are deep warm pools, They drown me slowly, completely and luxuriously. And I surrender my embrace on this world, Answering the beacon, drawing me constantly onward, Eternity waits. Your mouth awaits my kiss, tender and pouting Like a delectable fruit on which to feast. Their sheer perfection and delight, Fashioned just for my pleasure. Your aura impressed to the reverse of my psyche, So that I may evoke you at will and keep you safe. Never to escape the succor You have created there. Thoughts of you course throughout me Akin to the blood that flows throughout my veins, The reflection recalls feelings long since mislaid, Found once more, by the mere penchant of memory. You come to existence within my body, Creating feelings and emotions that swell, Unpredictable and intensely they engulf me, Bringing those profound secrets deep within me Creating the fantasy we share. Imprinted to my recollection, I resolve never to lose sight of you. You are near always, residing, In my heart. In my soul. And my mind. |
