HATED It has been hard run for us Blacks and Hispanics - the “worst races” It has sometimes been stated We still haven’t prospered After all the years we”ve waited And society hasn’t help After all the statistics that have been rated We are the number one race enslave and incarcerated Living in boxes, barbed wire and gated The constitution promised equality From the time it was written and dated But we have been treated as a “less than” Untill the mayor and president were nominated It is time for a change the clock is ticking by the minute And enough time has been wasted And I’m sure all our ancestors were to walk this land ones more There hearts would be devastated So we should open our eyes and take life for what it really meant to be Because as it has once said the best things in life are free
