Has anyone here ever been published? If so, is there any good advice you might be able to give me about publishing, poetry, stories, or novels? Anything would help! Thanks so much :)

I was published once in a collection of poems called Etchings and the only advice I can give is make sure whatever you are looking into isn't just a scam that wants money. Ten to one says if they ask for money right off the bat that they are a scam. I was published for free because they were looking for writers.

Thanks for the advice, yeah if it sounds fishy, I wouldn't go with it. I have heard some pretty outrageous stories of publishers promising results if you pay them exorbatant amounts of money and then scamming you.

Yeah and what's sad is so many people fall for it and lose not just their money but also their integrity, will to get published and even sometimes their works. It's horrible but that's the way of the world I suppose.
