Here is a part of the book I am working on.   Orla stepped out of her room into the living room, because she heard voices and glass breaking.  Orla is not able to comprend the site of violence at five years old. She stared crying and saying don't hurt my ma ma. Tom is dragging Orla's mother around by her hair and yelling obsenties.
