slam

didn’t even

slam

pick these doors out

slam

the rugs were his, too

all Oriental, or

something

 

I rejected my role as

domestic goddess

went to work

brought back bacon

cooked it

 

there’s even water pressure, here

and the napkins

look like flightless birds
