Flame

Flame

A Poem by Drake Kyle

Red, lights the way;
for a love that does lay,
inside the confines of our hearts. Yellow,
lighting the night, with light so bright,
like fireflies in flight. White, ever so light,
dims the hate with which love is imprisoned.
In the dead of night, with flame so bright, our paths will cross,
and thus ignite, a love that burns with red, yellow, and white;
the makings of the perfect light.

i like how you make flame like a guide to love with when two lovers paths will meet their love will ignite like a flame and how the the lovers flame makes the perfect light of all. and i also like how you make flames the one that gets rid of hate to free love from its cell. overall i think this poem is a good short poem that capture the meaning that love is like a Ignited flame of light between two lovers.
