Be Not Afraid

Be not afraid of the path ahead

Of the ever changing road of life

Be not afraid of the turns and bends

That conceal from you the light

 

Fear not the 'how's', 'what if's' and 'why's'

Fear not failure or success

Don't be afraid to try, to dare

Don't be afraid to make a mess

 

Be not afraid of the misfortunes

That life will hurl your way

Stand strong, be faithful and keep your smile

Shinning all through the day

 

Be not afraid of the challenges

That you will have to face

These are are not things to be feared

They will help you find your place

 

Do not be afraid to love

As one has never loved before

And do not fear the heartbreak

That nestles in your very core

 

Be not afraid to live your life

Like sorrow's never come your way

Smile and cry, laugh and love

As you go about your way

Not a huge fan of the ending of the second last stanza
