GRAY BLUE SOLITUDE

GRAY BLUE SOLITUDE

A Poem by Zeek4
"

Inspired while camping in the High Sierra mountains of California.

"

Blue sky colliding with gray colossus

Softened by puffy white clouds

Green spears of life

penetrating stone and sky

Stillness invaded by whispering wind

speaking the language of primordial meaning

In some ways alien in other ways very much

as one

I sit in this raw beauty trying to comprehend

the incomprehensible

Trying to let go

and just be

The image, thought, flow, and wording reminds me of John Muir, and that western plain between civilization and the pacific.

Beautiful! A state of being that I do not attain very often in life, but my soul hungers for very much!
