The Frayed Rope

The Frayed Rope

A Poem by Olivia Danielle

You held one side

I held the other

The rope was frayed on my side

Instead of cutting the rope

I made it longer

And longer each time you hurt me

We were far apart

The rope was frayed

But that one string never broke

I couldn’t break it

No matter how much I wanted to

didn't know someone will ev'n think this way to reveal unsaid feelings of heart in words... quite raw.. n deep. only a soul w/ aches can write such depths... which i admire utmost.

more than life, love teaches a lot of things which even still remain untaught. sometimes, esp. to one's heart.. more specifically when it comes to love.
