Smile

"

Just a cute short story of a girl and a boy.

"
Her eyes make the stars seem dull in comparison. Boys heads spin at a glance of the bright, blue, ocean like orbs, untamed and peaceful all at once. Her hair curls messily to the middle of her back, and falls playfully out of ponytails. The sun doesn't even compare to her gorgeous golden locks. Her smile spreads happiness like pollen on a windy day. Her whole being is an extraordinary example of how the universe can be pall in comparison. Woven, light brown hats, cropped shirts and shorts, and flower patterned dresses fill her closet and make the summer shine brighter with each outfit she wears. She dances freely, speaks softly and everyday, she makes someone smile.
His personality creates unbreakable bonds. He makes friends with a look and keeps them with a glance. His passion covers him in oil and dirt. Always wiping off soil and adding grease in its place. Though the grunge is a prickly face, full of sandy blonde stubble and unkempt hair. His appearance is more rugged than he could ever hope to be, with gentle hands and judgments to match. His teeth are as bright as clouds in a beautiful summer sky, and they show often. With every joke comes smile, and they come with every other sentence. He fuels himself on humor and craves adventure. He loves boldly, laughs loudly, and everyday, he makes someone smile.
They barley know each other but he definitely knows her, and she definitely knows him. They grin softly with each thing they say to each other, hoping that their words are sinking in and being heard. He will compliment her red lipstick for being bold and she will cover her cheeks, flushed with fever. She will pick on him for his stubble and he will laugh, closing the joke with a bite to his lip. They stroll for hours before the day closes their adventure with a blanket of midnight darkness, their paths only lit by the moon and stars above them. They take two different paved roads, each leading to a different definition of home for them. They walk up their doorsteps and grab the knob, wondering,
Are they thinking of me?
Then they smile.
