Strange Feelings

Strange Feelings

A Poem by Jeffrey Jefferson
"

The following's a poem that I was required to write. But nevertheless, I wrote it out of heart and soul. No matter what I am proud of whatever you wanna call this. Thanks for your time.

"
I didn't know what I was in for
When I first met you
To be honest,
now that I've seen your true colors,
I couldn't have asked for a better friend

You left me amazed and speechless
And I couldn't understand you for as much as I tried
Even harder to understand my own feelings
How you love to mess with them

And the more I get to know you,
The more you make me stumble
The thought of seeing you once more
Has my heart racing
Even though you'll never feel the same way again

Author's Note

Jeffrey Jefferson
I'm hoping I conveyed my feelings well. I do realize that some figurative language would've been a nice addition to this poem. Any ideas or suggestions.... Well, hit me with all you've got. Thanks again for taking the time to read all this :)
